After another tiring day, on my way back from work, I was waiting for my friend to join me.. Silently gazing at the shimmering lights of a starry sky, I was pondering on tomorrow's hectic schedule, my to Do's & the don't Do'sfor the week, While frequently covering my ears to avoid the irritating sounds of the vehicles passing by... Financial issues, social issues, logical issues, illilogical issues.. And thoughts that jumped boundaries of human imagination by leaps and bounds...kept me occupied for a long while...
With a worried look on my face, my troubled eyes turned around, to find a pack of ill-maintained huts spread across the road.. And out of the imploring bushes, came out a little boy..one of his collars, stretched up..standing on a pair of worn-out slippers and a playful attitude spread across the entirety of his appearance...
A closer look revealed earphones plugged tightly to his ears.. and with an innocent grin on his face, he was swaying to the tunes of (probably) a low cost mobile phone WITH FM!! In between his million priceless expressions, he stared at me for a while, while tugging his soiled shirt back into his pants and almost immediately went back to his (to put it more accurately) chin-shaking dance!
As I was enjoying the uniquely intriguing tactics of the boy, my phone beeped, "Your payment is due on....." Which otherwise, would have made me frown, this one however, brought with it a generous smile... I turned the phone off, patted the kid.. and was on my way back home.. smiling...
