This is about many instances I observed and thereby it seems that is this becoming a trend among the boys n girls born after like 1990 or so..
They are hardly 19 - 20 yrs old, not even finished with their college graduation, forget job or career..
they are financially also dependent on parents..
They have a affair with someone of the same age..and they get married !!
Marriage is a commitment and a big thing of your life in India..
Think about it..the earlier generation ..means those born in the 1980's I see most of them very much into their studies while in college, then higher studies, PG..and then job search...then getting settled in career..( applicable for both Girls and Boys)
and then they think about marriage..either arranged or Love..
In case of Love marriage also, they first want to have a stable career , take care of responsibilities at home, responsibily of their parents and then take the wedding vows..
What surprises me is that what about these new gen kids? though 18 yr is adult legally..
but still, what makes them plunge into marriage at an age where they should be focussed on their studies and making a career?
are they ready for it? for the responsibility that comes with marriage..
or is it just an adventure for them ?
What wud be consequences of such steps? are they mature enough to handle complex situations?
Else when they will actually be of marriageble age say 24-25, they will be ready for second marriage!! LOL
These people have their elder siblings still not married becoz they are more focussed on higher education or career..
and the younger ones are plunging into marriage !! ..either running away !! or convincing their parents n then getting married..
I wonder is this Balika Vadhu effect or something?? ;)
What do the parents of such kids feel when their younger ones are desperate to get married while their
elser ones are still buiding a life for themselves n their parents..
Whats ur take friends?
is this becoming a trend among the younger kids?
Please share..
Note : Of course the above is NOT applicable for ALL the youngsters of this age!I Just wrote about what I came across recently..
