An Evening to cherish

All those who slog themselves for five days a week and desire for the weekend to hit them…How thrilling it could be to get an unexpected holiday on a weekday.

This one wasn’t unexpected ….as it was accession day off in Sweden and I wanted to make the best of it….With no plans in our mind…We just thought of spending the whole day out , hunting for some new places we have never been to… I planned to dress at my best and so did my husband jus to give it that extra pinch of special mood :) On our way, we found out by some people a good place to explore would be upplands vasby which is at a distance of 2 hours from Stockholm. So, as decided we hit the road to this nearby town.

With us, we had some nice desi music….divine sound of the drizzling rain… the moist green trees, the beautiful yellow flowers…..the dull blue sky & of course our togetherness ;) (m I making it sound like a Yash raj film set).

Well, Finally when we reach there….with great expectations in our mind, we find a small center with few grocery shops, some irritating construction sound from the right…and few fellow strangers, who had those lost eyes and expressions that I rather thought of finding things out on my own than to have them lost further to search sum place for me:)..We soon realized that the place we were in had nothing grand to offer our big expectations from the day….

Still, we just took a nice stroll in a nice lovely garden around and headed back to some place with no clue again where…. We were hungry, it was 3 in the afternoon…but didn’t really want to do the regular lunch at a restaurant and go back home.

That’s when I plugged my husband with an idea…that I wanted him to cook me food today…that’s not all…I wanted it on a beach side….with jus him and me…and he being my grill chef! J and to my surprise he was in for it!! J

It was still drizzling and it was so not the weather to grill, but what about my special dressing and special mood, I would not let it go waste at any cost, remember that…So, I was jus praying internally for the rain to stop.

Soon, we barged into a shop, picked up some nice grill stuff and a onetime grill. Now, just a minor thing we were left with was to find an appropriate place to accomplish this idea…. We walked, walked and walked, finally we reached to a place…oh That place………..

A huge blue beach…..rocks spiking from the water, the water was crystal clear…turquoise where it's shallow, royal blue in the deep, lovely massive green trees…..blooming red flowers….and that red sunset…….and that mystique blend of blue of the beach and the red of the sky….was so magical, picture perfect and dreamlike…and jus there we found a sitting place on a wooden dock….impeccable and perfect place to have that dinner I have waited for since this long day started….I felt like a star, who appointed a personal chef at this elite place to have an evening to cherish :)

Note-The rain had stopped just as in when we lighted the grill…. It so good to have been heard by god at the right time:)
