Some months ago I started a series of love story that stopped in part 13 for some valid reasons of taking a break in MS. But now that I am back here, the story which entitled,"When Scarlet Turns Gray." will continue due to some friend's requests to post the rest of this story. When will the Scarlet turns gray will be revealed soon. As for now, here I am, am back to post the next part until the story ends.

Part 14 cont.
"Randy, I wish I can... but it will just mean another complicated life to be with you. Maybe the best we can do is... wait till both our lives is not longer complicated, and Im still here. Then, lets try to meet and workout for it. But dont push destiny that soon for us. Your kids needs their mom and a father like you. Try to give your children a complete picture of a family, Randy. It will not be family if you're not altogether. As for me, Im still waiting for Jim. Who knows, he might change his mind, and comeback to me."Carla said and felt her throat go dry.
"Carla, Im sorry to have misinterpreted you. I thought it will be easy for us to be together... I thought that.... you want to find someone who will replaced Jim in your heart. And... here I am, trying to make your life more meaningful and happy yet... you still choose Jim despite his betrayal and abandonment for you. Im sorry, Carla."He said with growing desperation and trying to control his churning emotions..
"Randy, Im sorry too. Im sorry to have failed you're expectation. But its too early for us to commit with each other. Three years is not too long not to give Jim the chance to change his mind. Lets try our best that we will have our family be together again, especially you- you're a man.The best we could have is a hopeless affair and the worst, a forbidden love."A slow sigh escaped from Carla's lips, she didnt know what to say more.
"I wish I am Jim... I wish he knew who really you are. He's lucky to have you Carla... yes, he is!"as he shots another glass of brandy. Lets have the last toast and maybe I'd better send you home. Its too late for you to stay out with a married man. Randy was a little sarcastic this time, a bit sad and disappointed for what Carla have told him.
A few minutes after over a glass of strong red wine, Carla made her final toast. She had successfully smothered the thought of Randy's promises. It was crazy even to consider getting involve with Randy. Carla was back to reality that no matter what, she is still a married woman, not until she will be divorced someday.
And its time to go home after that melancholic talks, shots and toast. They both knew that Randy will drove Carla back to her house with the uncertainty if they'll ever meet again.
to be continued...
