Hi friends,

Its been a long time since I posted a DP. Today I thought of writing this diary post on a special topic i.e. "time".

Let me start with a quote by Samuel Smiles:

"Lost wealth may be replaced by industry, lost knowledge by study, lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone forever."

I always remember the glorious days of childhood and the time spent learning and gaining knowledge in school. The time when the innocence of childhood steered clear off the worries and complications of life. The time when we used to jump around, play and move around like a free soul. Time to do homework was always fixed but playing time was always flexible.

The time when mummy- papa roz awaz lagate: bahut khel liya, ab to ghar aaja :-)

Those were the days when we hardly looked at the clock or a watch. The only time when we thought of time was when we were expecting the school bell to ring, indicating the time to go home! :-) Those were the best days of life.

After school it was time for college. The time spent with friends in the lecture hall, canteen and library, talking about various topics ranging from nonsense chit chat to serious talks. The time spent worrying about the exams and studying till the very last moment. The time when friends used to say " enjoy today, study tomorrow" :-)The time spent with friends at cinema halls and sport stadiums while the studious ones enjoyed being present at boring lectures.:-p

The value of time finally creeps in during the final year of college when we all start thinking seriously about our future and strive to build up a strong foundation for achieving success in our field of knowledge.

Then comes the next stage. We realize the importance of time when we enter the real world of professionals. The time when we have more responsibilities as a son, brother or as a father. The time when wasting time is the biggest crime! The time when we cannot afford to overlook the complications of life.

Now I am entering this stage of life and waiting for the right opportunity and hoping to achieve success by utilizing my time constructively and preciously for a bright future.

Tic toc tic toc goes the clock! I look at it and wonder: Have I utilized my time productively by writing this DP?

At the end, I would like to thank all the Msians who have always spared some time to go though my posts.

Thank you :-)
