The charming pixie

(Second diary post on my delhi visit)

After I joined Mouthshut in April 2009, I started posting the articles which I had once written and were saved in my computer. For the first time, when I got a comment, I felt inexpressible happiness, which encouraged me to post more and more articles. Later on as my all articles got posted, I entered a new world where I started writing on different topics.

From that first moment till today, I have been assosiated with many kind hearts that inspired me and are guiding every step I take. Among them, she is the one. She was the same who had posted the first comment on my Mouthshut diary. So, meeting this Delhi MSian was one of the unforgettable moments of my vacation. Thanks shalu didi.

On the very first day of my Delhi visit, Khalid uncle had started introducing me with few MSians, and I spoke to Shalu didi too. Uncle then arranged a plan of meeting over lunch in "The great India place". Uncle and I, along with aunty and their kids, reached there by 3 pm and as we were waiting for our long queue in pizza hut, there arrived Shalu didi. She appeared to be a little different than that of her MS profile picture, but still we recognized each other and greeted with smile. Then as we entered pizza hut, we started our gossip. She eagerly asked about my journey and my days in MS. I too was not late too thank her for being first user to comment in my Mouthshut diary which in reply, she said that she had never noticed it.

Although we two had never talked before that day, I never felt any difficulties in interacting with her and it didn’t take much time to be familiar with her.. But more than question and answer, it was about the sharing of our individual days in MS which we enjoyed with delicious lunch in pizza hut. Then a final fight at the end… Shalu didi gave us all this wonderful treat of delicious pizzas and dedicated this meet to me. Thank you didi!

After that, she accompanied us to the India gate. It was an enjoyable and fun filled first day in Delhi.

On the second day, Shalu didi arrived at Nirulas, and she was never late in spreading her charm by her beautiful voice and sweet talk. Though the man of day was brother shubro’s emotional and classical song, presence of shalu didi was another reason behind a successful and memorable meet. Thank you shalu didi and all Delhi Msian for the meet. And thanks to our brothers from Amritsar too, brother Ajay and brother Yashpal. But not to forget, opportunities to meet with Pooja didi and menon uncle was also among the memorable part.. (I shall try writing the final dp on Delhi MS meet soon)

Monday, third day of my stay in delhi, was a week-day and it was a very sunny and a hot day too. So, I stayed with uncle for a whole day. In the evening at 6 pm, we (uncle and I) went to the Lotus temple where Shalu didi was supposed to join us. But as Akshyardham temple and Lotus temple, both are closed on Monday. So shalu didi waited in mid-way and we started our journey to Noida. Uncle couldn’t join us because of his personal work. Shalu didi and I had the dinner and she showed me the some malls and important locations in Noida. I was impressed by her hospitality and my delhi visit was already a success.

As of then the only place unvisited was the Delhi Metro station. I expressed this desire to her and she took me to the nearest Metro station… we waved at each other, we wished Good bye and we started our next journey to our individual destination where I paved to uncle’s guest house and she went towards her home

.

I appreciate her for taking time out for me despite of having a busy schedule. There are certain things in our life which are inexpressible when we try to pen our thoughts, and similar were the moments I spent with Shalu didi.

Shalu didi, thank you so much for everything…

God bless you with all happiness, care and success.

Regards

Suraj
