No one gets a perfect world
kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahaan nahi milta
kahin zami to kahin aasmaa nahi milta
Last week I was listening Nida Fazali’s beautiful & meaningful ghazal, so true lines which explain the depth of his philosophical approach toward life.
I have seen many of my friends, relatives & even I race and chase to make more money, to have more success, to gain more power etc. Of course there is nothing wrong in chasing the desires but my question is will that day ever arrive when we get everything in life ? We all know how this life goes, life ends but wanting for more never ends.
It’s very easy to get caught in the race & a life of mindless chasing, moreover in today’s competitive world we are taught, brought up & conditioned by education, family & society. We are lost ourselves and forgot who we truly are & what our real goals in life are.
The most important thing I learned is not to worry over unfulfilled desires in life. Let’s be honest to ourselves, we can lie to anyone else in the world, but we can’t lie to ourselves. We cannot go back and start a new beginning, but we can start today & make a new ending before the life ends.
The purpose of life is to discover what makes us happy, and then go do more of it rather than running behind everything. Let’s enjoy life today & be happy with what we have. It is a waste of precious time & energy to focus on what we are missing, the key to happiness is to take pleasure in what you have. Let’s be grateful and purposeful in our midst of being true and the best of ourselves,
I always remember this beautiful quote; Happiness will never come to those who don't appreciate what they already have.
And finally I remember another beautiful song written by Gulzar Saheb, Zindagi Phir Bhi Ahaan Khoobsurath Hain, Thoda Hain Thode Ke Zaroorat Hai ....
