I remember the year 2003.I had completed my graduation with history.My younger brother is differently abled person. I wanted to make my career in teaching of differently abled people. But I did not have any idea of how to proceed.
I shared this thought with my elder brother. He was working in Bangalore. He took leave and came to New Delhi especially for this purpose. My parents are little conservative.They hesitated to let me go for this career.My bhaiya did a lot of home work in 3 days. This included the convincing of my parents for allowing me.
Then, there was no stopping for me.
I completed my Diploma in mental retardation with distinction. I was given chance to join the same institute from where I had completed my diploma. It is such a satisfying career for me.Meanwhile my bhaiya encouraged me to complete my BEd in special education through a correspondence course. I also completed my masters through IGNOU.
Now, I hold a very respectable position in my career.
