25 Dec. It was my first birthday after my marriage on 22 Nov 10. My brother is serving with IAF and lives in Chandigarh. He confirmed telephonically on 23 dec 10 that he would be coming to Delhi on my birthday. He was extremely busy with his MBA exams. The last exam was on 29 of Dec.
On 24 Dec, my mother called me and requested me to stop my brother to come to me. She told that my brother fell from the stairs and had hurt himself severely. I was taken aback.
He called me on 24th night that instead of train he would be catching a bus as his e ticket was not confirmed in Satabadi train. I told her not to come and angrily told that why he had hidden the accident with her. He told me that he is a black belt and not to worry about the injury and he was just fine. But I was worried for him.
He reached at my home at 3 PM. I was so happy. He had carried so many useful items for me and a wonderful gift too. He even gifted a Dual SIM big screen mobile set for my husband. He too was happy to receive that.
I had made two type of vegetables. He appreciated all my preparations and gave me 5/5 for my preparations.
He sponsored my birthday cake and agreed not to have Chicken dish on my birthday. Chicken was his favorite dish.But next day I and my husband together made chicken dish for him and got 10/10 rating for the preparation. He even told, ``If I would not have taken birth as a human being, I would have missed such a lovely dish.`` Wow, it was the greatest compliments I received in my life.
While the chicken was being prepared he logged in to mouthshut.com and was ON his job. He even asked that when I was getting active again. I told that very soon and here I am.
