This is first story of mine. So, I would be needing advise from all of you.
Story goes like this:
There is one guy from a small town. His name is Amrita. He used to stay with his family. He belongs from Upper middle class family. But not from the beginning. Both of his parents are working. His parents struggled a lot & raised their living standards. Both of them work in Govt. Sector. They used to work hard in their office, gets promoted & reached in a good position in their rRajeev_Vermactive companies. Amrita's mother works as a School teacher. There was a time when Amrita's father's was not getting salary for couple of years. Still, his parents used to fulfill all his & his sister's dreams.
Ohh, I forgot to tell that Amrita has a sister, who is 6 years elder to Amrita. His sister's name is Dayapreet (DP). In his home, whatever Amrita's mom used to say, was considered as final (At least in 98% of the cases).
Their parents are very caring & want to give best to Amrita & DP. Amrita's Mom used to decide everything for Amrita & DP, & Amrita's Dad used to support her wherever possible. Amrita's mom was & still is very peculiar about cleanliness. During their earlier days, when they didn't had enough money, Amrita's mom used to wake up @ 5 in morning, used to finish all the household work, used to cook breakfast & lunch for all the family members, make Amrita & DP get ready for their schools, drop them to schools (Amrita & DP used to study in the same school where Amrita's mom was a school teacher). After the school is over, she used to take them back to home, help them in their homework, then prepare Dinner for everyone. Slowly & slowly, they moved up the ladder. They used to stay in one hall, which was their bedroom, kitchen, drawing room everything. By the time, Amrita reached Class 5th, his Dad became Asst. manager. Got a better house. Amrita's parents combined salary was good enough to hire a maid. Seeing these conditions, Amrita & DP used to study hard so that they can also become something good in their career. But god has something else for them. When Amrita reached class 11th & DP was in her final year of graduation, Amrita's Dad's company went for a loss & he didn't used to get his salary. All the expenditures are on Amrita's mom shoulders. But that doesn't stopped them to give Amrita & DP best. They asked them to continue their studies. DP graduated, but to get a decent job, she had to do a PG. But their financial condition was going bad day by day.
DP was unable to clear the PG entrance of the state, they were staying in. Due to this, parents decided to send her to a big city & get her admitted to a nice college, after paying donation. By this time, Amrita was also in class 12th. After a year also, no improvement in their financial condition. Amrita did not understand all these things. Since, he cleared Class 12th with decent marks, he wanted to go to the city, where DP was doing PG & stay with her. Her parents agreed & sent Amrita to DP for his graduation.
Amrita was now free. He can do whatever he can in this new city. Since, he was immature, his parents decided to get him admitted in a pvt. Hostel (For 3 reasons. Amrita's sister was staying in College's girl’s hostel. & 2nd reason is Amrita's college doesn't have the hostel of their own, 3rd reason, they wanted Amrit to learn how this World is). Once their parents went back, he started doing whatever he wanted to. But he didn't misuse the money, his parents used to give him on a weekly basis. Its just that, he didn't used to study. He just play around in the college. Slowly & slowly, he get indulged in habits like cigarette, used to bunk colleges etc. DP used to study hard. Amrita's college principal sent a letter to his Parents informing them about Amrita's activities & telling them that they are barring Amrita from writing main exams. Their parents came to his college & literally begged to the lecturers to allow me to write the exams. At last, Principal allowed Amrita to write exams, after taking the fine. Amrita's father was already facing financial crisis, & then Amrita's activities. Somehow, Amrita started studying. But he was not performing well in studies, despite studying hard. By the time, Amrita reached penultimate year of his graduation, their financial condition started improving & his sister got a job (Not the job she wanted). This led Amrita to again start all the activities like cigarette & drinking. When Amrita reached final year of graduation, his sister got a job of her liking but she got transferred to some other city.
