My name is Piedade Salvador Antonio Cruz, holding a policy with HDFC LIFE number 04416768
I would like to place a complaint about the handing of my life insurance policy as mentioned above(Policy Number 04416768)
I started the policy in June 2021 with Exide Insurance, with premium of INR 2, 00, 000.00/- .I have paid two premium each of INR 2 lakhs for 2021 and 2022 to Exide Insurance. The premium was paid through my UK(GBP) account. Hence, I had not paid any GST as per our agent Faiz Javid, who had confirmed that NRI don’t have to pay. Then my insurance moved to HDFC life and did the same payment in August 2023 for the same amount. But HDFC life is saying that I must pay for the GST.
Since then( August 2023), I am discussing with my agent Faiz Javid, who then introduced me to Laxmi Sunil and then lately Karthik. I was asked to fill several forms to prove I am and NRI, which has been already done twice. Also was asked to send email several times since then, which I have done. But I am frustrated as I have no answers from them. I am not sure what is the state of my policy now.

I would like to let you know, the above 3 agents are no longer responding to me.
Please I need an urgent solution to my issue.
It is above a year and HDFC LIFE is not able to provide a correct solution.
