Life has been very busy with work, kids and home to manage...any time I feel depressed or broken down out of the demands life had out of me, my mind thinks of writing something to make myself feel better...but I used to ignore or blame it on time!
Now, I know only writing some thing can put all the broken pieces into one and keep me going! Here I am, back to blog!
A salute to every woman
---------------------------------
There are a few families living in an empty plot near my house, they all are construction workers...wondering why my story is beginning with them? It is because I wake up in the morning, open my door, and see the kids out there crying while their mothers give them bath. Those women give their kids bath, cook food for their husbands and get off to the construction sites where they work. Then I see my mother-in-law who at 60, takes care of my kids when I am away at work. I get ready to office, and wait for my younger kid's nanny. She enters there, with a broad smile saying good morning. Hidden behind that smile is the tired body that has finished all her house work and come running to catch a bus, hidden behind that smile are all the worries she might have for her son who has gone to school. My son jumps into her arms, and she is in all love for her, a mom to my kid when I am away! There on the way to office, I see the lady, sitting in the hot sun , selling fruits to make some money and help her husband in running their family. On the 20 minutes drive to office, I see numerous beautiful women - waiting for buses to reach office, driving to office, buying vegetables for the lunch, taking kids to school and what not! They are all those beautiful women who are the root of a family, whose existence makes the existence of a family. They are beautiful, they are caring, they are selfless, they are strong, they are the existence!
I did not know the demands we had as kids on my mother, but now I admire her for the perfect home maker she is! She has made us exist today!
Through this blog, I want to salute - every woman out there, who is a doting daughter, caring mother, loving sister and in all forms a beautiful soul! every woman who does multitasking and keeps all of us facing life every day!
I might sound like a very strong feminist, but that is not the reason behind writing this blog :-)
