The Importance of SUNDAYS

Again my this diary is somewhat related to my previous one. But this is also one of the transformations in my life post-job.

SUNDAY---> Though it's counted as a weekend, it's traditionally the First day of the week. Sunday is the undisputed king of the 'days of the week' and the world waits for it.

In school days, I used to wait for Sundays just to avoid going to school and playing all day long. However in college, the feeling changed completely. I used to get bored on Sundays coz I couldn't go to college and do all stuffs (apart from studying) with all friends. Sundays were not that great in college days.

Then came this part of life where Sunday has become a real hero. I got a job and started working. It has been 2 months now. And after 23 years of my life i.e. approximately 1250 Sundays, I realized why Sunday has been such an important day in the lives of people. Sunday is no less than a festival or a major event.

After working for the entire week, when we get a Sunday, it's a real boon. I enjoy my Sundays by sleeping till at least 1:00 pm. I meet my friends, play football, and go for movies and all those stuff that I used to do pre-job.

Earlier, I used to wonder why people say 'Sunday kab ayega yar?' & 'Sunday ko hee possible hoga' and all possible stuffs related to Sunday, but after my first week of work itself I realized, that Sunday is not just one more holiday, it’s a diamond among tons of coal.

One day one of my friends asked me that how work was and what new things I learned, to that I replied: ‘I have learned the importance of a SUNDAY' :-)

So now just waiting for 1 and a half day more to go…..;-P
