Haider was a guy who loved to be on facebook, all day, all night. And whatever he does, he just updated it on facebook. He also aspired to become a director, a director, who will be applauded by world’s audience. He recently got a video cam as a birthday gift from his father, and here starts his story of capturing each and everything from out of unknown world, the common neighborhood. He wanted to try something extraordinary, a feat which no one has touched till today, and already had a plot in his mind. He wanted to make the greatest movie of his life, which only he dares to shoot, and nobody else. He wanted to tell a story of an internet-crazy guy, who can go to any limits for internet, facebook and youtube. He started filming it.
Day 1 Wednesday 18th July 2012: I started filming my greatest movie. I am wandering in the suburb, and asked my friend to drive the bike, while I am sitting facing the back, I am hearing my favorite beat songs which I wanted to use as the background music. And I am filming just the moving scenes, the common happening of my city, what the cobbler is doing, what the other motorist is thinking looking at me, how is the ambulance passing, and how did a man expressed when traffic signal barred his movement. Wow! A perfect starting to my movie, but what could be the name, hmm let me think, oh yes! I could put it as ‘The Life’.
Day 2 Friday 20th July 2012: I did the initial part, adding the credits, and mixing the shoots with score, and yes it is coming up, I like the process, wow! I just love directing and film-making, now what should I shot today. I am now here at the railway station, what a hustling and bustling environment. Look that man! How he’s begging for money, since he is not able to walk properly, mercy is upon them. See that woman, holding a child and pleading passengers for some money, and saying that her child is hungry from last 5 days. How could one guess who the legitimate beggers are and who were the frauds, oh God! What a life! Wow! I just got another title, “What a Life!”
Day 3 Sunday 22nd July 2012: so, I edited and put the thing together, this time I got a sad song to match with the movie, what emotions I catched, really I am a great director. Today I am going to the red light area of our city, never been to that place, and I even don’t know whether they’ll allow me to shoot or not. So I am here, I am happy today. I hope that today I will not get sad shots like day before yesterday. One girl is crying as she’s been dragged to one house, what is this, don’t they have any feelings, and look that man is just come out of a room, looking happy and satisfied, but what about that lady’s children, it seems that they’re not liking this job of their mother, oh my god what is this, disgusting, I trhink I will change title of my film as ‘Disgusting Life’.
Day 4 Tuesday 24th July 2012: today I am going to the basti which is settled by the migrants, I am not feeling well from past 2 days, I don’t know what’s happening to me, Is my decision is correct to made such a film, but what happens to my central plot of shooting the life of internet-crazy guy, but I am now in the basti, where only poor people lives. I met a family; they offered me a bread to eat, since they’ve nothing else to offer. The father works daily for 12 hours in the factory, then also not able to save enough money and he and his wife has to survive on water some days, since they have to feed their two children, two cute little children, he told me that someday he found his wife weeping in alone, because of their poor condition, and he too feel very depressed, and want to end his life whenever he thinks this his two children faces comes in the mind. What is this, I do not have any words, now what, I don’t know, title renamed as ‘Silent life’.
Day 5 Thursday 26th July 2012: I don’t want to go anywhere but I have to since I have one last appointment pending, this time it’s the ‘Old Age Home’ where troubled aged person lived. Everybody is having some or other disease, someone lost his memory, someone lose his power of hearing or seeing, some are getting deterioted day by day in some or other manner, and that’s why they’ve been left by their families to live alone here, can man be so cruel that when needed most they left their own parents. I am going god, I can’t take anymore, I shot my film, that’s it. Title should be ‘is this life’.
Day 6 Saturday 28th July 2012: I finished my film but my film’s central theme was a film about an internet-crazy guy and here I am shooting and mixing my final part, I have done filming and you will see my film in few minutes, just few more minutes and it will be uploaded to youtube, and here it is, 5.4.3.2.1. TADA! The greatest film of my life!!!
