On last nights news, Shiv Sena goons were caught on film, vandalising a hotel in Bombay, and roughing up some of the hotel staff, while the Police stood by as mute spectators.

"Shiv Sena workers vandalize Mumbai hotel"
The Shiv Sena is back to its old ways, well emulated by its break off faction, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
Both these political parties behaved like cowardly mice during the terror attacks at CST, Taj etc. Not a squeak escaped their 'venerable' leaders lips.
If these parties have the genuine welfare of the people at heart, they ought to have displayed their bravado by storming the terrorists hideout in the same manner they stormed this hotel, and in the same manner they inflict damage to hapless citizens of our country, and to public and private propery.
Their bravado is restricted to cowardly illegal acts of violence against helpless people.
The Mumbai police or at least the powers that control them, appear to be hand in glove, i.e. the state Home Ministry. Why else will a police force stand idly by when a rampaging political mob goes on its destructive spree?
These incidents are not restricted to Maharashtra. Orissa and Karnataka experienced police inaction recently when Christians were being attacked.
What is the solution?
