Women of our country, India, play a vital and a complementary role in lives of men. A woman is the one who is the backbone of a family. She is the one who nurtures a child, who is the future action of our world. She is the who wakes up early in the morning, earlier than everyone else and the one who sleeps last. She is the one who takes care of all the minute requirements of her family members. She is definitely the one who acts as a nucleus, around which the entire family revolves. Thus a woman plays an unreplicable part in a family.
But, does this mean that she can't do anything apart from household work! Does this mean she should be grounded at home! No,' the hands that rocks the cradle, can rule the world.' Undoubtedly, the demarcation of women abilities has changed.
Women's contribution in fields of sports, education, health care, acting etc are very well known. As a mother she inculcates a spiritual and moral values in her children. Thus, at the same time outside home, she moulds the destiny of children as a teacher or a guide. As a doctor and nurse women have advanced. Their contributions are indeed valuable for well being, growth and economic development of our society.
" Behind every successful man, is a woman", this quote is acknowledged by many great men. Thus it is inconceivable to deny them equality in our society. After all, like men they are also a part of God's creation endowed with same mental, emotional and physical power.
But in our Indian society women are always looked upon as a problem, right from the time of their birth! No doubt Indians are killing their girl child before their birth. Why is this so? Why boys are given more importance even when girls are not behind in any aspect?
However this problem is not faced the daughters of educated parents! But still it does reside somewhere in uneducated people. Thus we are half way through this problem, other half can be solved by educating the uneducated!
