Indian Crabs Vs Foriegn Crabs

By: pradeepcec | Posted Dec 12, 2011 | General | 302 Views

This is one lovely story that conveys very important information about WE INDIANS and the day I heard this story from a very elderly person, I was really touched by the moral of the story.

Its a simple story but yet, very powerful message is conveyed through it.

Here goes the story,

There were two buckets of crabs, one bucket had Indian crabs and the other bucket had foreign crabs. Both the buckets were deep enough so as to prevent the crabs escaping from the buckets, let me tell you, all the crabs were live ones.

Crabs in both the buckets were exactly of same size and all same features except that, they were from different countries as said above.

Now, as nature's way of survival, all crabs were trying hard to escape from the bucket but there was a huge difference between the two buckets,

Bucket with Foreign Crabs:

All the crabs very hardly trying to push a crab that had almost reached the top of the bucket, the crabs at the bottom pushed hard to make sure, that the crab at the top, managed to escape. And to their effort, the crabs were even succeeding to escape from the bucket back to the sea.

Bucket with Indian Crabs:

Here also, it was no different, all crabs were trying hard to escape from the bucket, but the only difference was, the crabs at the bottom were trying to pull, the crab on the top, back into the bucket, rather than helping it escape out of the bucket. And finally none of the crab managed to escape and all of them finally ended on a frying pan!!!

That's it, the story is over!!

But I hope, you get the moral out of it! We Indians are always seen as selfish people, who always are jealous of our own brothers, sisters, our own neighbors etc.

We never understand, that, we get only what we deserve!

So why not we broaden our minds and join hands in hands to make our beloved country a, much better country?
