Do the children of today require educational institutions? It remains a grim but obvious question to be thrown. These schools of knowledge have in no time transformed into swamps of blood-suckers. How long shall we stand as silent witnesses, rather admirers?
My four year old brother informs me that he will not be admitted to a school if the authorities are not given donation. The first impression of this innocent soul about the outside world is 'bribery' and how to cash-inwith cash-in-hand.With such an unethical base, these kids are taught subjects like Moral Science, Value Education, Cathecism- isn't it a shame? It is disgraceful to see ingenous tykes crouching under the weight of their cumbersome school bags- cases of spondalitis, arthritis, severe back pain, etc. in broods has considerably augmented. This does not augur well for generations to come- health and wealth, both have to be sacrificed for the sake of the so-called 'education'...
The fee-structures show hefty amounts being charged as 'Developmental Fees'- to oppose this, there is no water supply in the toilets- such are the celebrated Developmental Works undertaken by our esteemed institutions. A parent wastes thousands every month, only to see his/ her child learning nothing but the use of slangs. Moreover, it is quite incredulous that students of lower primary classes have to attend special coaching classes or tuitions: what are the schools then for? If all these were to continue, the Government may very well introduce a new TDS scheme- Tax Deducted at School.
It is high time that all concerned citizens collectively stand against these atrocious acts of exploitation. We need to do something, we really do...
