E-Waste[Electronic Waste], is a waste type consisting of any broken or unwanted electrical or electronic device. E-Waste have raised concern considering that many components of such equipment are considered toxic and are not biodegradable. Many a European Countries has banned E-Waste in 1990's. Should we reinvent wheel, till we get affected badly because of the E-Waste, shouldn't the Government immediately acted on this and got some hard and fast rule, which takes care of this E-Waste. We could have learnt from other countries policies easily.
With the heavy growth in electronic products, and the use and throw mentality of users, it's high time that there should be a hard and fast rule for the "aam aadmi" to stop dumping e-waste in our motherland. Awareness amongst users, will surely tackle this problem till a rule is up and running. This post is mainly addressing to our MS-Community to combat e-waste in our motherland. Many of MS-Users will be already following safe disposal, I would like them to spread the awareness to their near and dear, so that together, we can tackle this man-made disaster.
