I have been very busy since four months hence didn't get time to conduct the debates. My sincere apologies for not being regular with my debates but shall try my best from now onwards that a topic for debate is posted every week for your feedback.
Though there have been many topics hovering over my head that can attract a debate but I have chosen the latest hot topic, which is cricket.
Cricket for Indians is a passion that brings the nation together but since a year the IPL scandals have reduced the interest of people. The present scenario of cricket board is like dentists controlling a cardiology department, I mean people who are not cricketers are controlling the show. And they are not there by force as they were elected. But somehow I feel ONLY cricketers should be allowed to contest for the board seats and basis votes should run the show.
Instructions have been given by the Supreme Court, which should be honoured. This is with reference to the IPL issues that cropped up last year.
Do you agree that only cricketers should be allowed to head the board?
What is your take on the IPL tournament?
Will it have any impact on the tournament once few teams are barred?
After Srinivasan goes, do you foresee any changes taking place in the present cricket team?
