I have been a member of the site since Nov 2002 and it has been a mixed experience. I have been amazed by the quality of the reviews, I have envied some of the reviewers simply because of their writing skills, I have also had the disappointment to see certain discrepancies, unnecessary controversies over an article, articles that make you mad(written just to ridicule the reader and points I guess). But some articles do make you come back again and again. I love the emotion and passion that they generate, the logical reasoning, the humour and an honest effort to impart information about a certain product.
The list below shows some of my favourites here in MS but it does not include a lot of others who are equally brilliant.
- One of the stars in the MS horizon in my view is a member known as Premjit. This guy is special. He writes damn good reviews, has a wonderful sense of humour and is a brilliant writer. Whenever I write a review I look forward for his comments. The review I have chosen from his spectacular collection is on Tips on Hostel Life with the title The Best Years! After reading this review I got so nostalgic that I made an excuse from work and went back to our hostel. It was a sheer coincidence that two of my roommates were there too. We went back to our old room, sat on the window and I told them about the review. They read(I had taken a print out) and we all said cheers to Prem on a glass of …

- Ashish(spookaay) - Entertainer personified. Read his previews, his profile and you gotta like this guy. His reviews will bring smile to your face even when you are experiencing those days! My pick from his reviews is The Dead Smell Yummy! On Rajinder Da Dhaba available at https://mouthshut.com/readreview/26162-1.html
A truly fantastic review on one of our favourite joints in Delhi. Reminded me of the days when we used to freak out at this place.
- Prashanth(PrashD) - Footballer! I didn't know that species could write reviews too! He is a real jack of all trades with reviews ranging from travel to technical writing. You would love all of them. What I like most is the lucid style and the directness of approach. I choose his review on Feluda Stories - Satyajit Ray with the title Satyajit Ray Lives On. I grew up reading Feluda but could not have written such an interesting review and that too reading the stories in translation. Hats off Prashanth.

Grimm Reeper(disskonnekt)- Only recently I have started reading his reviews and have been thoroughly impressed by his writing prowess. My pick is the one on Bangalore. The title is Destination Bangalore! Entirely different in approach, this is perhaps the one not to be missed on this great city. Give it a try at https://mouthshut.com/readreview/32770-1.html
Karthik(mskmsk100) - Smashing reviews that can be compared with a hot cup of filter coffee. A true admirer of his reviews, I have picked the series where he has penned down his thoughts on the different aspects of MS. The reviews live up to the title: Straight from the heart - Part I - II - III.
