The difficulty of being good
My first thought,
Shall we be good, or be successful,
What is more worth,
The one that pays more,
What pays, honesty, truth, prudence….
Or, ego and hypocrisy!
It is difficult to be a good human than a successful one,
It is difficult to be both together,
I know that transparency counts,
The second question,
What is meant by being good?
What is ‘being good’s definition?
Does it mean to justify between the right and wrong?
But the world is a political game,
With sins all around!
The third thought,
Yudhishthira could carry just a stray dog along
While on his way to heaven,
Kauravas and Pandavas both were shown the way to hell,
At the end of the epic,
So, what really counts!!
Why should we be good when it is so tough and when it is never counted!!
