That's called 'generosity'

By: biswarupa | Posted Mar 07, 2011 | General | 609 Views

On my last visit to Bangalore, while going around the city along with a friend of mine, I happened to spend sometime in an area where two old beggars were sitting opposite to each other maintaining quite some distance. They were desperately expecting something out of me. While checking my wallet, I could find only one five rupee coin and that was the only change that I had. That happens sometimes.

Both grappa and granny were looking up at me, trying to make the best possible eye contact. I finally told them that "I have only one coin" and to the best of my surprise, the granny said "that's ok, we belong to the same house". I gave her the coin and the three of us exchanged a smile.

Thinking of that incident even today makes me happy. They were beggars, but with such a big heart. What are we?

That's what probably is called generosity Cheers! Biswarupa
