I have registered the service request on 23/08/2020 for my Voltas AC as there was no cooling, Technician has visited my place and he rectified it and my AC started to run normal, on 29/08/2020 there was electric supply in all over my house including all Iron appliance like washing Machine, Refrigerator, water taps etc, I checked with my electrician at night 10 PM, he guided me over the call to switch of each appliance and check with tester, I tried will all the appliances, finally when I came to AC, electric supply was stopped, so he concluded that there is fault in AC please call AC technician,
I again raised the revisit to the same guy in Urban clap, same guy visited again and said that AC compressor has blown out(damaged),
All this happened because of this Technician as he used copper pipe to connect the wire with terminal of compressor, he is not suppose to use it, as every one know copper is a very good conductor of electricity and melts in high temperature, after running of 5 to 6 days that pipe has melted and touched the compressor body where it lead to my compressor blown out and made electricity to pass all over the house.
when I escalated this issue, they arranged some senior tech, even he told the same that he is not supposed to use copper pipe instead he might have used connector with screw, but later he changed his words to company, as per their instructions, I book the complaint with Voltas on 04th september, the technician came from Voltas also has concluded that the damage happened because of the techician fault and gave me the job sheet, I have forwarded the documents provided by Voltas to Urban clap on the same day, after so many calls and so many email follow up they have finally provided me Rs 10000 as compensation, My demand to them is to give me the compensation for an electric shock I had because of their technician and for the mental agony they put me in for all 12 days. because of that my mental and physical health has been damaged.
Trust me, if anything happens to you, you have to face the same situation. They tortured me to the extent.
Please dont ever go to this Company for technical issues.
