I got robbed of my new Bluetooth device during their service !!


Details: Have been taking services from Max pest control for 3 years. Sometimes the services were good, some times ok. But the owner Vinay maintained good customer relations hence I continued with the brand. If you go through their customer support it will be a horrible experience. Now the main story. This time I did the pest control after 6 months which was pending on my annual maintenance contract only because I was not allowing anyone into my home maids, delievery, cleaners nothing for 6 months.


The guy who came to my home was John from Urban clap who have a tie up with Max pest control. I found him a bit rude. I followed him around the house so he made me go away to get tissues to wipe hands. He also carelessly spiller more than a litre of medicine on my door mat. After he left after a week I realized that my new bluetooth was missing and it was in the same room when he asked me to get tissues probably to pocket it. I didn't doubt such things as Max had given services for 3 years. But after complaining I thought they will take ownership. But they only said we questioned the guy and he said he didn't take it. And they had done a background check before hiring him.


Which robber is going to say he took it or a background check done 2 years ago guarentee that a person will not pick an item from someone's home. I respected my relationship with Max and didn't give a complain but let them investigate. But what I got from the management is that I should have complained. Which means they didn't care about their brand value which would loose it's value in the market.


Had I been in their place I would worry about my brand value, secondly I would want to maintain good relationship with a regular customer and give whatever comfort from our end. I would try and get to the bottom of things or compensate the customer appropriately for not making complain and contacting the owners so that they could sort the issue.


Unfortunately I wasn't valued. Though I did talk to the owner after waiting for his call back. Valuing a long time customer wasn't their priority and hence I decided to write this review so that whoever approaches them has this idea and can decide judiciously of what they are getting into. The owner doesn't even read and respond to reviews so I'm not sure it makes any difference to him. But it will definitely make a difference to prospective customers

Availed the painting Services for my apartment . They charged the whole amount and the labour disappeared in between . No Customer Sevice and after 7 days the work is still incomplete.


Will never recommend Urban Clap to anyone .

Worst company had booked for Hom deep cleaning

The unprofessional who came saw the house and said it does not work out for him. It is a 2BHK. Didn’t even bothered to renegotiate he kid of fled from the scene. A horrible experience and behaviour. Better clean your houses by yourself I doubt if we have true professionals ever in our country for such jobs.

I have registered the service request on 23/08/2020 for my Voltas AC as there was no cooling, Technician has visited my place and he rectified it and my AC started to run normal, on 29/08/2020 there was electric supply in all over my house including all Iron appliance like washing Machine, Refrigerator, water taps etc, I checked with my electrician at night 10 PM, he guided me over the call to switch of each appliance and check with tester, I tried will all the appliances, finally when I came to AC, electric supply was stopped, so he concluded that there is fault in AC please call AC technician,


I again raised the revisit to the same guy in Urban clap, same guy visited again and said that AC compressor has blown out(damaged),


All this happened because of this Technician as he used copper pipe to connect the wire with terminal of compressor, he is not suppose to use it, as every one know copper is a very good conductor of electricity and melts in high temperature, after running of 5 to 6 days that pipe has melted and touched the compressor body where it lead to my compressor blown out and made electricity to pass all over the house.


when I escalated this issue, they arranged some senior tech, even he told the same that he is not supposed to use copper pipe instead he might have used connector with screw, but later he changed his words to company, as per their instructions, I book the complaint with Voltas on 04th september, the technician came from Voltas also has concluded that the damage happened because of the techician fault and gave me the job sheet, I have forwarded the documents provided by Voltas to Urban clap on the same day, after so many calls and so many email follow up they have finally provided me Rs 10000 as compensation, My demand to them is to give me the compensation for an electric shock I had because of their technician and for the mental agony they put me in for all 12 days. because of that my mental and physical health has been damaged.


Trust me, if anything happens to you, you have to face the same situation. They tortured me to the extent.


Please dont ever go to this Company for technical issues.

Urban clap kitchen cleaning is worst service

Recently I shifted to noida and I placed a request for kitchen cleaning service and when they arrived , I was glad to see that they arrived in company uniforms with gloves and masks and face shield but the way they tried to finish off the work was dissapointing as they seemed in a hurry and when they said they are done , I pointed out where they missed and to my surprise they missed to clean a visible thing that is RO water purifier and even after convincing them that what they missed , they cleaned it finally but why I have to take pain to convince them to clean each and everything on kitchen when I selected the highest package for kitchen cleaning. Urban clap , please provide training to kitchen cleaning team.

Worst service and seems to be scam people, scamming people in the name of services, no single services given by them, they only know how to extort money from your pocket. Beware of this site. I had paid booking for the house painter by seeing numerous ads, but people are very unprofessional. I got a call in the morning and I gave the confirmation but still the person didn't come just wasted my time, then he said I will come in next 2 hours, then again he said I am rescheduling your appointment, for next day, then today I found it is again rescheduled for next day. In fact this is a never ending process for them. beware of such highly time wasting people. They just waste your time and money.

My experience with the urban company for the repair of my 15-year-old Whirlpool refrigerator has been quite disappointing and educative. Though several unprofessional and unreliable technicians are available in my neighbourhood(Malad East, Mumbai), I approached the Urban Company in pursuit of professional and reliable service on 11 August 2020. To my utter shock and dismay, the Urban Company sent the same local technician whom I wanted to avoid.(He was a local vendor specializing in(recycled) electronic spear parts. I discovered this after completion of service.) The technician repaired my 15-year-old Whirlpool refrigerator without even discussing the option and its cost. We did not bother to verify the options because of our implicit trust in the Urban Company. We thought the technician, as an Urban Company representative, would be fair and reasonable. On completion of task, we got a bill for repairing my 15-year- old Whirlpool refrigerator from the Urban Company for Rs 8129/-. We got a message from the Urban Company to collect the invoice, if any, for the spare part purchased by the technician. The technician claimed it was a Whirlpool spare part but refused to hand over any bill(since he did not have any for his recycled compressor). Instead, he even carried the replaced compressor(despite our objection) arguing that he has to deposit the old part with the Urban Company. While the technician showed and replaced only the compressor for the 15-year-old Whirlpool refrigerator, the Urban Company billed us for several other items. In response to my repeated complaints and request for a bill and warranty card, the Urban Company provided me with a warranty invoice(not a bill) for the Compressor from Kanchan Refrigerator Company located in Malad West in Mumbai(13 August 2020). After 12 days of(24x7) pursuit, Urban Company provided me a bill-cum-warranty paper for the compressor for Rs 6000/-(25 August 2020). This bill-cum-warranty paper was from the Cool Tech Engineering owned and operated by the vendor himself in my neighbourhood(Malad East). In sum, I have two handwritten warranty PAPERS(NOT PRINTED WARRANTY CARDS) from two different stores for the same compressor. The Urban Company wants me to beleive that these handwritten warranty papers from two different stores are evidence of a genuine spare part and genuine job done. The Urban Company does not seem to know that no hardware company issues handwritten warranty papers on the invoices of retail stores. A Company like the Whirlpool always issues printed warranty cards. IT IS HIGH TIME ONE CALLS THE BLUFF OF THE URBAN COMPANY TO STOP ITS FRAUD.

Fridge repair from Urban Clap

I took service for fridge Repair. There was water leakage in my fridge. The technician came told motherboard and gas leakage and charged 3178. After 3 days once again water leakage started. I raised a complaint. I got to know the technician who attended my job is no more with Urban clap. And they sent a new technician. Now they have come with a different solution and says it cannot be repaird. This technician also confirmed there was no issue with gas and motherboard.


Urbancalp said they will refund amount but just a blant lie till date not recvd.


And now im unable to register a complaint also as it says complaint already exists

The technician came to our home and said the parts of IFB washing machine is available with the IFB customer care and we are not authorised. So get in touch with them but pay me 300 rs in cash for the petrol. These Urban clap people should first call the customers and ask the problem. I am reaching to consumer court on this company.

Urban clap is very good for hiring many type of services like carpenters, plumbers , electricians , repairs like refridgerator, washing machine etc.


I had experienced for all the above services past 1 year. Experience was good but charges are little higher side but managable .


Best part is scheduling of the services , when you hire some services you get a schedule list and as per the convenient time can select the same. Once selected schedule you get payment options not to worry on paying advance if services are cancelled you get refund with in a same day but maximum they mention 3 days. I had experienced about the same twice and money was refunded because when I hired for a AC problem they found AC was not working because of power or electricity issue, engineer identified but he did not asked for money , infact I was charged only visiting charges. I indeed appreciate this. Than you.

I have a very worst experience in getting my whole house painted/whitewashed as they delivered inferior quality of material as the superior than the delivered material has already been applied in my house, which shows lack of experience in inspecting the house and suggesting inferior quality of material for applying the same in the house. As a result of which I cancelled the job and requested for refunding the money paid in advance but despite my repeated requests through email and call made to the customer care executive no refund has been initiated till date. This is my first chance when I was taking the services of the urban company but no heed paid towards my request and concern made above is the material supplied is no use of mine.

I got my three ac's serviced/ repaired on 21 June 2020.there was Leakage and other issues in split AC.It was Got repaired but soon the problem of water leakage n less cooling returned.i was under three month warranty.i


have at least put my complaint many times and I get the message .somebody will contact you shortly..I once got a missed call and then got a message that we tried to reach you but unavailable.we will call you again.


It is now over one month.i am writing reminders after reminders but no response.


It is really pathetic state of affairs.real cheating.i am going to file a complaint soon.

Worst services..beautician didn't have collection of a nailpolish..came withonly 2 colrs and charged me 200 rs only for polishing n stupid didn't know how to apply nail polish..spoiled my threading and facial was also bad..didn't done single work correctly..see cleanliness showing on my hands..will sue you guys
