On 05/Aug/2021 I booked a flight ticket from Travolook because it was offering the lowest air fare. Well, my booking was from Lucknow to New Delhi which I booked at just Rs, 1845 INR. I was happy that I had saved money on booking but just after 10 minutes of booking a flight a message pinged in my phone, that, “My flight ticket has been cancelled.”
After reading that message I was in trouble about what to do next because I had to go Delhi anyhow, so I called the Travolook support team on their given number 0124-643-4800 and sent an email on support@travolook.in regarding the air ticket cancellation.
After 2 rings an executive picked my call and asked “How can I help you?” So, I asked them why my ticket got cancelled after a successful booking.She said to wait for a while and asked the booking details. Just after 5 minutes she told me that due to technical error the flight ticket was cancelled, we will refund your ticket amount.
Then after she asked me if I wanted my refund in my bank account or Travo wallet? I simply said I want my money back in my bank account only, because I do not want to get in their trap again.
The executive told me that it will take at least 20 days to get a refund in your bank account and if you choose a Travo wallet then within 48 hours you will get your refund which is the full amount you can use in your next booking.
I thought for a while and said to initiate a refund in the Travo wallet because I had to do the next flight booking.
On 07/Aug/2021 at 6:30 PM I got my refund in Travo wallet and I made my next flight from Lucknow to Delhi for 10/Aug/2021.
So, It was an average experience with Travolook for me.
