The worst company to do business with!!!
Feb 17, 2016 02:41 AM 25464 Views

Regus is the worst company I have ever done business with. They overcharge fees all the time, their phone service and internet are a joke, they threaten to kick yo out if you don't rent more space from them stating that their common reception area is being disrupted by your clients.

There are hidden fees and overcharging all the time and it seems like they do this as a matter of everyday business rather than the exception. The managers always blame problems on the previous managers and they never stay longer than a month. They lie, cheat and steal in my opinion and I would not recommend them to anyone. The company is a joke.

Working from regus WTC will cost u your health
Feb 02, 2016 11:33 PM 26262 Views (via Mobile)

I have been constantly falling ill working from regus, because of their crazy temperature setting of the AC. They do so so that people can run away soon, I started to shiver and  my temperature currently is high .

They also have something called the virtual plus . They have cheated the entire customer database with this scheme . They say that we can use v+ office 5 days a month and they have sold all the office spaces to ABB . It brings me shame to be a part of such an org . Nobody grows this way . My friends are very very upset with the same . We were promised the space they mentioned and now they say pay but u cannot use it.

Regus Chennai OMR, India customer service is pathetic and not customer friendly.  There is no customer focus and no respect for customers. Escalation to the second level is also not helping. Facilities are good. Can some one help me to reach to the head of Regus in India.

Though I have been committed past to stay for close to an year, customer relationship has been a challenge after Regus position new Manager. Management is not hearing the customer complaints and looking for forum to escalate.

Regus' Illegal Cancellation Policy
Nov 16, 2015 11:42 PM 30414 Views

I cancelled my monthly rental agreement($199/month) with Regus in Clackamas, OR on August 12, 2015 only to continue receiving monthly billings.

After repeated complaints, I was told my contract required 3 month's notice. However, Oregon law(and that of most states) requires only a 30 day notice to cancel a month-to-month rental.  Regus' contract is illegal on its face. I am turning this over to the Oregon Attorney General.

Regus turned my account over to a collection agency claiming 4 months of additional rent instead of 3.  In addition to being illegal, they can't count right.

Worst Business Space provider

I have entered in to six months contract for office space. They firstly spoke nicely and they didn't tell about hidden Taxes, installation charges and they generate Invoice before one moneth you can't modify any service that include in invoice because they are cleverly generating invoice before one month.

Regus islamabad centre in Pakistan a nightmare
Aug 14, 2015 04:48 PM 34621 Views

I have recently business center in islamabad.very very disappointed as business world member and as we are regus serviced office client in uk.

islamabad centre in Pakistan is very awkward when I reach there they didnt greet well.GM there told that there is no business lounge facility even though regus mentioned on their website and they charge for internet which are very high and also they will charge for any tea or coffee which is very ridiclous as GM was telling rates like coffe shop and he is more interested to charge for tea and internet rather than office .

Over the internet they mentioned the services are free of cost as also agreed by regus Business world card holder and on enquiry he informed that to use any of business world facility I have to ask their regional head office in dubai to send them email to let us use any services.which is totally not helpful.it feels like I went there to buy the cup of tea not as a business customer.

  • total fake pictures of Islamabad centre on their website

  • no business lounge available

  • no think pods available

  • internet is also not free

  • tea / coffee is also charged

  • No number has been posted on their website for the center and I have to ask karachi office to give the number for islamabad centre as address is also very difficult to find

  • rates of day offices / monthly rental are very high and not according to the local market( I wonder why they setup offices in local market and not totally check the other office prices in the market which are available at 100% better prices)

Regus is a rip off. They charge for everything without consent. They treat their employees like slaves, not professional. Try Manta, you'll be glad you did. Jessica Campbell sucks.real live dip shit! She do not know how to sell. She will lie to get you sign an agreement.

Had issues with my account. The agreement auto renew, she didn't know the proper way to fix it. 2 young ladies were able to assist. She never return any of my calls and would not respond to email.Very unprofessional. She have a nasty attitude problem.

Beware: They auto-renew without notice
Jun 05, 2015 10:24 PM 37577 Views

I recently discovered that my lease was auto renewed without consulting and or notifying me( Professional courtesy? Customer service? NOT!).

In January(our lease was expiring) we reached out to explain that we had lost our largest, and only client, and we were exploring our options to keep the phone number until our last property sold. It was then that I was informed I had to provide 90 days notice, which I did immediately, and in writing.

Yesterday, I reached back out to discuss the expiration of my 90 day written notice and was informed that I was auto renewed and my lease expired January 2016, another FULL YEAR!

As a new start up company, we purposely went with an executive suite because we realized it was a 50-50 proposition in regards to success. Again, I fulfilled my one year lease, I provided 90 day written notice, and continued making payments even though it was a financial hardship.

My business approach has always been one of striving to make each transaction a "win-win" for all parties. I tried to do so in this scenario however it's falling on deaf ears. If anyone can assist me in this endeavor I'd appreciate it, I'd like to see if common sense will prevail, as it doesn't exist in the FW Worth location.

Regus stands for fake promises, non - transparency
May 14, 2015 07:34 AM 39511 Views (via Mobile)

I bought a Virtual Office Plus package with Regus Pune, India in year 2013. In the year 2014 they renewed the account without my permission. When I asked them for all the details like until when this renewal period is valid, they did not mention that. After several email transactions with their staff(after 3 months of renewing my agreement) they said that it was renewed for 1 year.

Since that time I am asking them to close my account with them, but they say that due to pretermination of contract they will charge me 50% of the remaining time rental. As a matter of fact during this time also they did not established proper communication with me. Above all Regus was unaware that there was some fake company which was using Regus board number and that number was assigned to my company. Due to such unprofessional attitude of Regus my company had a bad name in the market.

Even after I escalated my concerns with Regus center manager and Zonal manager they are unable to do anything and neither they are ready to end my agreement without further charges.

Regus is very unprofessional business center and they do not maintain transparent agreement with their customers and force them to continue till that agreement reaches end dates. Such companies should be banned in India. Can anyone tell me how can I take legal against Regus, Pune, India.

This company is HORRIBLE! Several of our offices house with Regus and almost every month I find additional "IT Services" charged on our account. I have to call to get these removed and it's the same excuse every month. Those were charged in error.

Really? And if I didn't call, I'm sure they would gladly take the income. What a joke! When our leases are up, we're out of there! STAY AWAY! And if you're already in a lease, be sure to check your statements very close each month.

Very few cubicles to work in(6). Usually booked by 8:45am(for the day). Worst restrooms ever(cleaned once every three days, according to their wall charts - disgusting!). Noisy - TV's set too loud(but don't touch!). Staff not much help. Too busy on their computers.

But polite!

REGUS WILL STRONGARM YOU WITH OVERCHARGES
Jan 07, 2015 06:40 AM 47052 Views

I signed an agreement with Regus on 11/17/2014 for a very nice cubicle in Woodland Hills, CA at 21900 Burbank Blvd Woodland Hills, CA 91367. I met with an account manager and I will protect his information and I naively signed a 3 month lease for a cubicle for$211 a month for 3 months expiring on 2/24/2015. I was told by my account manager that I will be given 1 month FREE so the total amount due would be$422 and I agreed that it be charged on a credit card. What a huge mistake!   You live and learn! - Keep reading.

I ended up vacating the cubicle after 2 days by taking all my stuff and running away from this company after reading all the complaints online. I called my credit card company and cancelled my credit card immediately and thank God I did. I wish I checked this scammers out before. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER TO REGUS.YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED.

Since then, I have been invoiced the original$422 for the agreement I signed and an additional$320 for god knows what. Here is what REGUS is trying to do at least to me.

They will attempt to overcharge you through an emailed invoice in attempt to extort you out of more money. They do this because you signed an agreement that they will fraudulently change by adding more stipulations to it. If you don't pay the amount which I have not because of the overcharge, they will send you to collections and attempt to collect the money anyway possible or ruin your credit. So far, they say I owe$723 and I will turned over to a collection agency and I will have to take it u p with them.

I emailed my account manager back and forth very seriously in an attempt to stop their lies. I finally had them agree that the overcharge invoice was wrong and that I only owe$422 for the 3 month lease. I also sent them a Cancellation Letter by Certified Return Receipt Requested to cancel my auto renewal of my lease which apparently they will try and renew over and over again and charge you so they can again extort more money out of you. There are many complaints online regarding their "renewal clause" and how they attempt to renew the lease by fraudulently adding addendums to the lease with your signature. So they received my letter and signed for it which I have proof of from the post office incase they dispute my cancellation request.

There is also a Class Action Lawsuit pending against Regus and I spoke to an attorney Jennifer Duffy at kbklawyers.com. She told me that they are putting together a class action lawsuit against Regus for their fraudulent "renewal clause" and they need more people who have been scammed to be in the Class Action Lawsuit especially in California.

Just be careful with this company. Don't even do business with them. They only care about the Green. They will do anything to make money. If you signed a lease with them already, call a consumer rights advocates attorney right away and start filing complaints with the AG and Dept of Real Estate in your state.

Thanks,

Mike

Underhanded techniques /Stealth charges
Sep 26, 2014 02:21 AM 48464 Views

We took out a regus office in November last year and at the time the Heathrow Regional Manager, William Painter made many promises and pretended to be helpful in order to sign us up.

We are an IT startup and we looked to Regus for flexibility and efficiency and to be able to keep an eye on cash flow at the early stages. We were wrong on all accounts

Several stealth charges started to appear very quickly that we never agreed. I was even charged for late payment which was actually due to the inability of a member of staff to enter my bank details into their system. Despite her agreeing to this I still have not been reimbursed.

Charges kept going up every 3 months and I kept speaking with the general manager Matthew Chapman and william painter both of whom promised they would look into it and gave the impression that it will be sorted.

7 months went by and nothing and after my persistence I was finally given a response. NOTHING can be done. You will not be reimbursed and we do not accept any responsibility, not even for taking so long to come back to me.

I asked to be released of the notice period as they put me in a very difficult situation but nothing was done. I was dismissed every time. No responsibility was accepted not even for the late payment charges.

I gave notice and terminated the contract as we were in a difficult cash flow situation. After termination two more payments went out causing us many issues. This is despite many assurances from Matthew Chapman that he will personally make sure it would not happen as he was aware of the problems they caused us.

I then called customer services a week ago and was told to email in. I did this and have not heard anything back.

After reading these forums I realise many other people have the same issues. Underhanded tactics, extremely bad customer service, no regard for the suffering they cause and the time they waste. We wanted the convenience of Regus to be able to focus on our business, instead here I am spending time in these forums trying to warn others.

This can't be a good business model for Regus. As things stand I am out of pocket over £3500 and for a small business at the early stages every penny counts.

Before anyone from Regus tells me to write in please note I have already done so and heard nothing back.

Anyone considering Regus - look elsewhere or if you absolutely have to go with Regus, read the terms very carefully. Don't trust them and do to pay by Direct Debit as it will never stop.

I am seeking legal advice

Disappointing, as I was hoping to be with them for the long haul

Good luck all

Unethical and pressure tactics
Aug 22, 2014 04:33 AM 49060 Views

I had a very bad experience with Regus. They negotiated concessions in our agreement, but failed to put them in. Once I pointed this out, they agreed to honor them. But they did not honor them honestly. They over charged, resulting in a huge discrepancy. When I objected, they threatened to shut off the Internet and telephone if I did not pay.

Finally, when my lease came up for renewal, they offered me a slight concession, but the well was so poisoned that I could not stomach going to the office. There was no one to talk to but the center manager, who followed marching orders, but never gave a fair hearing to my side of the story. The dispute could've been resolved, but they refused to discuss it. For that reason, mainly, I rate my experience with the company as being very poor, and a substantial drag upon my business.

Regus Rent Hikes Stick It To Long Term Tenants
Jul 25, 2014 10:39 PM 50465 Views

Regus Renewal Pricing Disrepects Long Term Customer. I have rented space from Regus for the last 4 years. The center staff is friendly and excellent. The Corporate/District Management however does not care about long term customers.

They want to increase my rental by over 10%(which Cost of Living/Inflation is exceptionally low) from 700 to$789. When my Center Director asked for lower price, he was told "no change." No negotiation. Obviously a long-term tenant who pays his rental without delay or failure is not valued by Regus. Most companies value longevity in their relationships. Regus just doesn't seem to care . Shame on them!
