I am writing this message to warn all the customers using the OYO hotel booking app to be very careful and vigilant while making any bookings through this app. This app is one of the worst booking apps, and they are cheating their customers by denying bookings and extorting money from them.
Recently, my staff faced a very traumatic experience with this app. I had booked a three-night stay for my 3 office staff in a hotel in Chandigarh through the OYO app. The first night went smoothly, but on the second day, the hotel owner denied my staff's entry and demanded cash payment, even though I had already paid the whole amount through the app. He locked the door and refused to let my staff check-in in the middle of the night. It was a pathetic service, and the behavior of the hotel owner was utterly disgusting.
My staff kept requesting he let them check-in, but he did not listen and threatened to call the police. After much persuasion, he finally allowed my office staff to stay for the second night, but the room he gave to the office staff had a damaged washroom, which they could not use all night. It was a nightmare, and they felt cheated and betrayed by the OYO app.
When they tried to contact the customer care number, nobody picked up the phone, or if they did, they disconnected the call after some time. The customer care service was non-existent, and they did not know how to solve their customers' problems. It indicated their bad attitude and behavior towards the customers.
I warn customers to be careful with this OYO hotel booking app. They are cheating their customers and not providing the services that they promise. They do not care about their customers, and their customer care service is one of the worst in the industry. They are a fraud, and I would advise everyone to avoid this app.
In conclusion, I would like to say that the OYO hotel booking app is a fraud, and they are cheating their customers. We had a traumatic experience with this app, and I do not want anyone else to go through the same. Be careful while booking through this app, and always be vigilant.
