Very Bad experience with OYO Room. I have booked a hotel (Booking ID OYI38765) Empire Stay Peace, Ernakulam Jn., since it is little inside, hence I called Oyo Customer Care.... Not once but 10times to get the direction. Finally I gave and find out the property myself with the help local people after spending 2hrs on the road. My struggle does not end here, the Hotel denied the booking in low price and said our contract ended last August. So I called they put me on hold for 49mins to discuss with their superior as well as hotel manager but not able to resolve. It has been 3 hrs this drama is going on and I asked the customer care executive to have call with her Manager called Anne. She said we will arrange supervisor call back to you within 2 hrs and she is busy can't talk. Irony is that i am already on the road for last 3 hrs and cannot wait another 2 hrs. The super isor Ms Anne finally called me said I am sorry i will shift you to another hotel which is 6.5km from that hotel and said I do not have any option. Today it's not me who is harassed but in 2hrs i have seen 3 more who caught in trap of OYO room who are denied booking. OYO is 3rd class and I have requested the Ernakulam Hotel association to put up a board stating "OYO Booking not accepted here"

Me and my husband, we are from Kerala.I have an interview in Delhi, when I was in the train book oyo room in delhi near interview institution. They say book confirm and location have send. We reach Delhi by late night 12 pm because of train late , and take an auto and says that hotel name. That auto man land in very bad place and told me that go inside there is the hotel.. we went inside that area and there is no hotel like that.. we are very fearful and uncomfortable with that place and call oyo for enquire where is that hotel.. a lady picked up the call and says she connecting to the hotel stay online.. we stayed online for long time there is no response. Then again we call oyo because we have no any other option. We are not familiar with this city and very fearful. Then we cant connect the lady. But a man pickup the phone and says another hotel available. Then we walked for so long to find that hotel the time was 1 am. And find the hotel and that hotel was very dirty even the toilet was untidy. At that time our priority was to stay safe atleast till morning so we stayed there. And this comment is typing 2.30 am from that hotel because i can't sleep very very uncomfortable. So don't trust oyo. They cheat for sure.

I wish I could rate anything less than 1 star. They are conning people like anything. Recently I have booked a property through OYO App. Time of booking the amount showing 1281 INR, I spoke to the property staff and confirmed the booking that will be reaching by 9:30PM. When I arrived the property staff asked for 2800 INR, it was an emergency so I paid 2600 INR and the only mistake I made that I haven't received any receipt. Since then I have contacted OYO Customer Services, even in the conference call yesterday the Property manager accepted that he received 2600 from me still OYO services need to validate. I mean there is a way of earning money, dont scam people. Pathetic Customer Services ever came across. People are least bother to provide resolution, they are keen to blame clients for their small mistake. Everytime they are saying we are arranging call back but at the end I have to call them. If this is the way to get more business then we need to BOYCOTT OYO.

For anyone who wants to satisfy their stay with comfort, oyo is the last thing you would want to go for.


They literally con people in the them of providing services.


Everything they display on their app and website is total disguise. Nothing matches with what actually is in the reality. We booked an Oyo room for Jaipur and trusted what we saw about the hotel. The very first fool they made was showing us the wrong Pricing. They showed we will be provided with discount of we online paid right away and we wouldn’t have to pay while check in. I did and still they showed the remaining amount to be paid once we check in.


When we reached the hotel the manager said the amount was even over 2000 rs more according to their record.


Another absurdity was when we saw the rooms. They were pathetic and not resembling at all from the displayed pictures.


The manager himself was frustrated on the fact of unmatchable deliverables.


We had to cancel the stay and look for different hotel altogether.

This is the worst service provider i have ever come across. No proper service or helplines, even the senior management can't help the customer on there booking.. it's a fraudulent company they take the bookings for the property which don't even exits and make us help less when we go for the check-in.

My booking was done instantly. After I checked out, I asked hotel personnel to provide invoice. They said OYO will send. I called OYO more than 15 times, they just keep the call on hold. And the call gets disconnected after 15 minutes. I have written mail to all their customers care mail ids, but still no response. This is happening from 4 days. I am unable submit the bill in office, since it was official tour. I'm really fed up of these people and young to suffer a loss because of OYO's clumsy attitude.

Three days ago I booked hotel in bhubaneswar through Oyo. But at the time of check in the hotel manager ask me pay more than the price was confirmed at the time of booking. I tried to speak with customer care but nobody picked up phone.


Same thing happened two years ago in Bengaluru. Disgusting.

Oyo cheated us. We reachedthe hotel after online booking and travelling 40 km at 12 midnight and enquired at the reception. Then they told that they have no relationship with Oyo for the last 2 years. There was no oyo board as well in the hotel.

Called me for about 10 times after booking and asked are you coming will there be any change . every time I said I coming no changes I am looking forward to stay . When I reached at my place those guys denied stay and oyo could not provide me with another stay and could not give me a refund immediately I had to wait for 7 days . not reliable, not trustworthy, not responsible, does not value your time and money, bad service from customer care I asked them to call me back because I had an urgent call from company I am working for and the guy who talked to me over the phone representing oyo said its not possible you have to stay in line to get the refund.

I booked Aman Guest house , yoyo no.11593 from 15th December 2022 to 16th December 2022. Property Manager did not allow me to check in. I talked 6 times with yoyo executive. No arrangement was made. After 2 hour I have to pay 2.5 times than booking amount. I got only booking amount refund. Never booked such hotels...unethical and hopeless. Sorry doesn't make one's problem over. Company being fraud, Government should sent their top pers8on to jail

I am giving 1 star rating as I can’t give 0 rating .Oyo is truly unprofessional, boycott it. I made hotel room booking before 3 to 4 days of check-in with full amount paid in advance. On the day of check-in while visiting hotel, property owner says Rooms are sold out. Even though i had advance booking. And then took 4 hour to get connect with oyo cuctomer care and they were not able to provide any alternative hotel for stay. After 4 hours of call with approx 8 different customer care executives they said we can’t do anything and will refund you amount. During Christmas week how the hell i get on spot hotel booking if oyo being a hotel chain unable to book hotel for me and refund of same booking amount is not going to worth it. Such a pathetic experience with oyo. I don’t know what kind of business model is follwed by oyo because after bookin with advance payment at oyo application, propery owenr is declining the reservation this seems no proper synchronization with property owner. It’s better to close business if you are unable to manage and giving customer such a pathatic experience .

We have booked a hotel 2 days before reaching the destination. And the very next day i get a call saying that it was cancelled. I booked another one and cross checked with one of the oyo calls for confirmation. But when I arrived at the hotel, they said they did not work under oyo anymore. I literally had the worst first experience with oyo and their management. I kept calling them for solution or any other hotel. Each and every person has kept me on hold after taking information and hung up on me. It happened around 15 times I called them.

I have booked hotel in Faridabad & during my visit they refused my booking and told me that we r not accepting online booking pay 1000 Rs. Then we will provide you room and deny to give bill too. Oyo has make lots of call but they hv no value of oyo. Oyo booked another hotel for me &same thing happened there too. They didn't pick oyo cse call and taken 800 Rs. Extra by me I paid because me as female because of those bulshit time was night 8:30 PM of winter , I thought to pay otherwise I have to stay on road for whole night. So Summary is that in market Oyo has no value now. Hotel Managers are doing as they want with customers. So I strongly suggest to all that don't book your hotel thru oyo rooms.

Oyo rooms took money and initiated partial refund of 5025. When I ask them for the remaining 8589, they would say, it will take 7-14 business working day excluding holidays etc. This is ridiculous as NEFT/ IMPS/ UPI takes atmost few hours to process.


Sometimes they would refer to the 5025 and say issue is resolved.


They deliberately issue different case IDs and create confusion.


Once they mentioned due to technical issue refund was cancelled and it will take another 7-14 business working days

Hi All, oyorooms is the worst company in the hospitality industry. They made me book a hotel, twice, I paid twice. But I wasn't allowed to checkin because they had no rooms. I called oyo support, they gave some really bad alternatives. Denied them. Booked a stay immediately on makemytrip got in with no trouble. These oyorooms people said they will process my refund. There were no messages, there were emails regarding the refund. When I call, they put my hold for 22 minutes and cut the call. How can someone be so unethical and pathetic in service? It's very frustrating knowing it's a multi-billion dollar company which operates in multiple countries.
