Milliondotstaxi

Though I am not a frequent traveler, but have been through some leading call taxis in chennai. But this time when I traveled using Million Dots from Anna Nagar to Shollinganallur, I noticed that when the driver stops any where for even a second, the Waiting charge implies.

When I inquired the same with the Driver, he asked me if I am travelling in Call taxi for first time. I couldn't help myself and called the Call Center 40001000. They asked me the same and said that it is as per govt norms. I was like , What!

There was no convincing answer by any of them. Though the call taxi claims to be the lowest in fares, but when you reach your destiny, you would end up paying higher.

They would also say that you would get a bill and pay only the bill amount. But wtf, I should pay if I am in car and its moving along.

This is an absolute nonsense. If this is in practice by all, then why this was not raised by anyone.
