I had an extremely disappointing experience with HomeLane. The service they provided was pathetic, to say the least. From the start, I had to follow up repeatedly for every little thing, and it felt like they simply didn't care about their customers.
The finishing of the work was pretty ordinary, far below what I expected from a professional interior design company. HomeLane has outsourced their work, including electrical, false ceiling, and custom woodwork, to different vendors, but there was absolutely no coordination between them. This lack of communication and management led to constant delays and frustration.
Even after the work was supposedly completed, I did not receive any formal communication confirming the project's completion. I also never received any information regarding the warranty. The only follow-up I got was a feedback email, asking me to provide a good rating. Once I did so, everyone from HomeLane stopped responding to my emails and messages. I later discovered that this feedback was considered the final step and marked the project as complete on their end, which was never communicated to me.
At the time of booking, HomeLane promised a 10-year warranty on their products. However, after the work was completed, they informed me that I would need to pay ₹750+ tax for each ticket I raise. This was never mentioned during the initial discussions.
There were numerous issues throughout the process, including a water leakage from the sink, which was pointed out by their own QA team. Despite this, no one from HomeLane showed up to fix it, and I ended up having to take care of it myself.
Overall, the service and experience were extremely poor, and I would strongly advise anyone considering HomeLane for their home interiors to think very carefully before proceeding. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
