Rooms : About 20 rooms categorising from Age no bar, friends, Love and Lovemking, to reginal rooms of metro cities like delhi, mumbai, b’lore and some sates too. You can make your own personal room, and the process is quite easy.
Chatters : A combo of Desi ppl chating in marathi, gujarati and south indian lang (majorly) , then ppl swearing is ours truly ’matrabhasha’ - variety and intensity of ’gallis’ and from ’kutte’, ’kamine’ to the most profound bloody relations, depending on the intensity of the situation. Another type of chaters that often comes (on weekends majorly) here are NRI from N/S.America and Europe. So, good chance to learn a few words of geraman, Austrain, Swedish and other lang.
Becasue of the fact that not many ppl comes here, its easy for a regular chatter to identify with most of the other chatters and u can even have an idea about the class of chatters within 15 days , ie , if u r consistent.
Facilities : All basic facilites like ignoring a user, sending message in whisper mode to someone, sending pm, joining a user in his room, following a user etc, and intretingly the process is very easy, just a click of mouse and the user is ignored, just a click and u r in whisper mode. Though sending and recieving private message is a tedious job, and at times its functioning makes chaters jo join desi band firing big guns of athestic vocab.
Language supported : Surprisingly, this chat station supports most of the regional languages apart from hindi and english. U can actually write in ur own mother tounge and the actual font appers on the screeen (i.e ’devanagari’ for hindi and so on...). There is onscreen help menu which guides u how to convert english alphabets into respective languages which ranges from hindi, english, marathi, tamil, gujrati, oriya, punjabi, telgu, malayalam and kannada.
Cons :
That private message sending is a mess, u can get a practical experince by login in.
At times its hard for the beginers to initiate chat. U got tot b pateint cause at tiem a mere hello is replied after gud ten minutes and even after that its a tough going. I think this is one of the reasons for this chat station being not so famous, not many can manage that silent chat rooms, which when in full form, is a experince of a lifetime....
Some consistent hang-ups. At times even login in makes u wrestle with the keyboad.
How to get started : Well jus fill up a registration form, and start chating. Its a nostaligic experince in chating in the language in which we think and dream. But u got to b a lil patient as the initial respose to your ’hi’ n ’hellos’ might not b very encouraging, until u r a gal of course :)
