Never book a flight on Booking.com. I booked a flight on this website. They never confirmed my booking. They kept repeating that the airline was not confirming. Then I had to cancel the booking, but I never received my refund amount. Again they gave the same excuse that the airline is not confirming your refund payment. I request everyone never book any flight tickets from this website. Worst Experience. Looks like it is some kind of fraud where they are cheating the customers by not refunding the cancellation amount.

We had a really bad experience with Booking.com. I booked the Paradise Villa in Varca Goa, which was given a four star rating by Booking.com. However, the property did not look like what was in the photos. It was ill-maintained with plastering chipped off and a musty smell throughout the house. Needless to stay we only stayed one night and then moved on to another property for the remainder of our stay. Since then I have been trying to get booking.com to get me a refund on the amount I paid for the remaining days. It's been over two months now and every time I ask for an update, they ask me to send documents that I have sent four times over.


I realised that the property is not listed on any other site. So obviously this is a scam to promote sub-standard properties and loot unsuspecting customers. Take care before you book any property on booking.com.


Most of the hotels in Kashmir don't accept booking

Booking.com shows lots of hotels and houseboats in Kashmir, even though the hotels are full in the sight it won't show, we tend to book it and when we go to hotel they say they don't take booking through booking.com, we had a terrible time in Kashmir searching hotel as it was season and almost all good hotels were booked

I was trying to book a room online through Booking.com (Fairfield Marriott Ahmedabad) and filled card details for booking. But as everyone knows while blocking, they don’t ask card pin and display that amount will be blocked and same shall be paid in the hotel. But while blocking payment, got a message for nonpayment due to card issues and got a message of booking failure.


Then we went to nearby hotel but in the evening, there was an email for booking confirmation (after 5 hours) and deducted money.


I didn’t get their contact number on website hence sent n-number of emails but got only one reply that insufficient information.


While talking to hotel, they said that confirmation was provided by booking.com hence they can not refund any money and told us to contact booking.com


I am not going to book in future through booking.com and blocking Fairfield Marriott also

I had booked a 3 star hotel for 3 nights with full payment in Chennai a month before we planned the trip from Mysore to Chennai , confidently we reached Chennai at 9.30pm and headed to hotel to check in on Jan 24th 2024 but the hotel people dint allow to check in as the rooms were full and blocked , when I have paid the full amount and booked how can they block my booking and not let me in , and in the middle of the night they asked me to call the customer care and ask for alternative and if I call they are saying we will provide other hotel details if u like we can go ahead , and they provided 2 to 3 hotels but all in vain, lastly they told they will refund the amount , what will I do with refund in the middle of the night , the mess is what I wanted to let public know.please don't ever book from this booking.com. it's fake and will put the customer into mess only.


Full amount being charged as cancellation fee

The worst hotel I ever booked. They charged us the full amount for the cancellation which was done almost more than 6 days in advance through booking.com, this is really unacceptable that we are being charged fully for the service which we didn’t even used. Even after telling them that the trip got cancelled due to family emergency. They still didn’t considered the situation like an inhumane and charged us for the full amount. Is this the way they run their business. Shame on them. Staffs are really unprofessional and don’t bother to listen you. Even booking.com just said that they can’t do anything i mean seriously for you guys 6800 Rs is a small amount but for us it’s a big amount. I would like to discontinue the service and I have already suggested my friends and family to not use booking.com

The horrendous low level of customer service is getting worse every day. Basically I had paid correctly in advance with my girlfriend to go to that hotel for new Year.


The hotel has been closed for a long time, but Booking still charged me my money, and they have never returned my money, even more so in customer service they promised that they would also give me a solution, which never came or credits, nothing.


I ended up paying double.


I have uninstalled the application and I hope you do the same. This is the 3 time that happen to me.


Is over for good.

I had booked a property for my holiday in Kerala where we had a nightmare of an experience. We complained to Booking.com regarding the same several times but to no result. What is worse is that the review that I had posted on the Booking.com site about our experience on that property was edited and not posted in full, leaving out the parts that Booking.com felt would damage the property’s image. Clearly proves that Booking.com is in cahoots with the said property and is trying to protect them.

I have booked the hotel zondelum inn appartment candolim Goa India using booking.com. confirmed. No. 4282902240 pin 9460. The property people contacted me and asked me to pay advance amount INR 4523 to get the reservation confirmed. I have paid the same on 11th Nov 2023 through UPI transfer. Suddenly on 11 Dec my booking got canceled and received a mail but no refund made. Reached out to Customer care of Booking.com no response received yet. Lot of spam hotels listed most of the hotels not taking orders through booking.com

Blue ocean Ganpatipule was selected for booking hotel through booking.com on 13thDecember 2023 and cancellation was allowed till 14th December 2023. However blue ocean resort central mui ne beach was booked for 2N 3days though correct location ganpatipule was selected.


We tried cancellation but option was not allowed.


We tried contacting booking.com customer care but they said cancellation is not possible.


Amount of Rs.16562/- debited to my card.


Confirmation: 13523137359789809315.


This is fraudulent from booking.com site

Very bad behaviour with customers.


Please don’t trust the properties listed on their web site. Google location is showing road block as per the location listed in their website. Location is taking to a thick forest. We are a family of 8 with 3 small kids staying on road in the late night talking to customer care to find an alternate booking first they said they are finding a room for us later they said the cost is high and trying to book finally they gave us a silly reason n escaped


We have booked accommodation and there is no property in the location shown in booking.com. Booking is confirmed but no rooms available for us. Contacted customer room for the same but they have kept us on call for 1.15min and told us a silly reason to search for a new room at 9 clock in the night.

I booked a room on booking.com however never received a reference or pin for the booking. When I checked with booking.com, they told me my booking had been incomplete and that I did not have a booking. At this stage there were no rooms left at the desired hotel. A few days later I see my account has been debited$220 for the accomodation that Booking.com said I had not finalised in the system. I have spent the last week sending in excess of 7 emails to booking.com to try to recover my money to no avail. They just keep sending me the same standard response requesting the same information I have given them over 7 times. I have also tried to call them on a number that does not appear to exit. I will never use Book.com again for anything. The worst service I have ever encounted.
