Booking

"Booking.com" is fooling customers and total fraud website. They offer hotels and resorts booking and claim that they are cheapest but actually they are the most expensive. I booked Machan in Lonavala through booking number 1012.768.121 and all the time through booking it was showing as Rs. 23,400/- the booking cost, but the moment booking is confirmed the deducted charges are Rs. 27,486/-. What non-sense? Now you cannot cancel your booking as they are non-refundable.

Also, they are claiming to refund the excess amount if another website is offering cheaper rates. Hope so they refund the excess amount else I have to move to consumer court so that they could not fool the public any more.

Their customer service numbers 0008000016075 are just pathetic. You keep on trying and you will not get through because they know they are total fraud and does not have any answers for their money making tricks.

If by chance booking.com people is reading this then I want a personal call on my mobile 9371490020 and want my excess money back immediately. Else,let's meet in court.

Further, I request people to avoid online booking of resorts/ hotels as these people just want to make money with over charging hefty rates. Go for phone booking directly or the resorts's website only.

I had a pathetic experience with booking.com. I normally book through make my trip but to my misfortune this time I made booking using this pathetic website.

I and my expecting wife was planning a holiday in Munnar. We booked Munnar Heritage Cottage using booking.com, for which I received a confirmation.(Booking No: 850.292.432, PIN: 5717). Later when I packed my bags and made a move to my hotel.

I  called the hotel authorities and they informed that no rooms are available in the chosen property for which I received the confirmation and I was half way to Munnar. I was very frustrated and called Booking.com customer care.

They put my on hold for almost two hours and the  call got disconnected. I called them up again and the person again put me on hold for another 1 hour. Finally they gave me a substandard hotel almost 22 miles away from Munnar. We had to take a U turn and go to that Hotel.

We had a very bad experience on the way to the Hotel and we were struck in a forest at midnight. Our holiday turned out to be a nightmare due to negligence from booking.com. I will never again book through this pathetic website. It ruined my holiday. Never book through Booking.com.

I thought I found a great hotel for a summer vacation in . . . but reservations were through Booking.com. I wish I'd done my research 1st.

1) A deposit of 1 night was required.

2) Free cancellation through 1 week prior to reservation.

Ok. Sounds good. I make the reservation - 6 months out. 2 weeks later I find the location was not what I wanted and cancelled. I received confirmation of the cancellation WITHOUT penalty.

Ok. Still sounds good. I get my credit card statement and I have a$10 interest charge . . . but I paid the statement in full(less the 1 night deposit to booking .com that should have been credited).

Ok. Booking. com Customer Service is non-existent so I contacted the hotel directly. They informed me they never received a cancellation from Booking.com. I needed to cancel the same way I booked.

Ok. Time to pursue direct contact with Booking.com - not online. IMPOSSIBLE. If you can find the number you're a detective, but it won't help because the line is unanswered. I did send multiple emails requesting cancellation to the hotel - but no response.

Ok. I disputed the charge on my credit card. That should avoid future charges and allow me to eventually get reimbursed. They advised me to call the hotel and demand cancellation and reimbursement directly.

Ok. Called the hotel again and was told I must make my cancellation request to the Front Desk Manager. Took 15 minutes but I finally got a representative for the Front Desk Manager to tell me the cancellation was being processed and I should receive my refund "shortly." Please, define shortly.

I found lot of problfems with it . so I will advise you to use it least.

Never believe Booking.com for their Best Price Guarantee they are NEVER the best price! I foolishly was duped into believing that they backed their best price guarantee but was very wrong! After I booked with them a friend let me know that hotels.com had much cheaper rates.

I called them right away to ask about their Best Price Guarantee and they said that it wasnt a valid claim! Same hotel, same dates, same room level. all within hours!

Booking.com said it wasnt a valid claim because they have a No cancellations & Modifications rule and hotels.com allows you to cancel right up until the day before travel. Different cancellation policies means the Best Price Guarantee is invalid! So basically Booking.com has WORSE prices & a WORSE cancellation policies. There is basically no reason whatsoever to book with them! Please save yourself the headache and TERRIBLE customer service and book through expedia or hotels.com. I have deleted my Bookings.com app and will never use their pitiful, deceitful and misleading service ever again!

Booking.com is hotel booking website which served all accross the world.this website is best option if you want to book hotel specially outside the india.this website can block your room even without credit card and you can pay at hotel.it only allows to write reviews to those who booked hotel with them so the review on this website are very much genuine and showing us as positive points and minus points about place.you can find great photos and helpful description about hotels.this website is used all over the world so you can find the reviews by all the country people and even booking.com mention that which country this person belong to whose review you are reading.this is cant called negative point but please be aware that price they show is not including tax specially when you travel outside they have so many type of taxes which will be chafrged from you at hotel.service and support by them is excellent.hotel is described in very detail.website load time is very less and this website designed greatly so it is very easy to use.my experience of booking with them was very nice and I highly recommend to check this website before making hotel booking.however this website generally dont provide any discount or reward cash like so many website make my trip goibibo etc do.

This is a very simple and plain easy to use website. If you travel internationally frequently then you might like to use this website.

The home page is so simple that important thing is you do not get lost in navigation. This website offers the bookings for hotel rooms.

But cool thing is that this website also offers special packages like villas, apartments, bungalows etc.so depending upon your requirement you can book one property.

They offer good rate when compared to other websites which offer similar services. You also get instant confirmation of rooms and if you want to cancel then you get 100% refund(most of the time).they have this secret deal subscription for subscribers where they offer massive discounts.so subscribe to their service.it is free of cost. Overall nice site to use. So, next time when you are planning the holiday.do check this site and share your review.:)
