I have a mi tv 65 inch which I bought in October of 2019.
The display panel had problems and replaced in Nov.
Now the whole backlight of the panel has failed the complete display is gone and the whole screen is black
The engineer has come and confirmed on 2nd December that the panel has to be changed and that is it
I confirmed from him that the order for the panel was placed on 3rd itself.
Since then NO ONE FROM MI HAS CALLED ME. There is no attempt to explain what is happening, what is the current issue, why is the panel not replaced. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
It's been a month now but no action has been taken from anyone nor any response.
I have been following up multiple times but I get the same response wait 7 working days. First 7 working days finished, they said they will escalate the complaint when I called and now got a new excuse to say wait 7 working days.
No one and I mean no one is trying to proactively reach out and inform what is the status. This support is pathetic
Let us talk of quality.. THIS IS THE SECOND PANEL CHANGE IN THE SPACE OF 1 YEAR 2 MONTH.
I HAVE A LED LCD TV WHICH IS 49 INCH 7.5 YEARS OLD WHICH IS RUNNING WITH OUT A PROBLEM TILL TODAY.
I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO CLEAR UPDATE OR REACH OUT FROM MI. I HAVE HAD TO FOLLOW UP MULTIPLE TIMES AND ASK WHAT IS THE STATUS TO ONLY BE STONEWALLED WITH WAIT 7 DAYS.
DO NOT BUY MI TV - I CURRENTLY HAVE A NON OPERATIONAL TV WITH NO CLEAR TIMELINE OR UPDATE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING.
