The Android software works well. Superb image & sound installed. Factory applications all function. Via the Playstore, add more. Faultless casting via android phone to television. Just fast. No difficulties. Remote. With Via Blueray or the Internet, 4k content. Excellent. Excellent. In a darkened room, only 1 weakness for me is a minor backlight bleed. Had 3 months of TV. Very happy, very very happy. No gimmick, Ambilight. Excellent experience.

My name is daksh ostwal jain I have used this product since one and half year but I am not satisfied with this television it is not a good product its features are also not good and its remote control is so weak and I have one samsung television that us very fine compared both products therefore philips tv is not a good product

Philips TV is a really very very attractive . I have a Philips TV.so beautiful and very attraction full. And his sound frequency is very very very sweet.And his video colour just like really looking actions. And his picture are also so good. And many function are available in Philips TV.Like that USB, pickle plus HD, hdmi, vga, ypbpr etc.And his remot control is also very attractive. And his frequency is very large distance .i think you have to give chance to buy Philips TV. And this generation also want to do some special. So. If you want looking some others so buy. And Philips company give also give varenty. And garenty

Philips TV is very worst television becouse it consume a high electricity and in this features are nit good brightness is very low when we watching videos on it it produces a very worst sound which is unlike and terrible for ear and it video quality is very poor its quality is not HD like other TV having TV in today's time a insult for a person because today LED ( light emiting diole) and LCD ( liquid crystal display ) is very popular today so there is no reputation of TV at present time if you thinking to buy this then change your mind about purchasing TV there is a chance of short-circuit in the tv and remote catching power is very less and it does not provides any additional features such as USB port , Data cable , wifi etc it consume very high electricity as compared to LCD and LED and it is difficult to carry as it is more wide then LCD or LED video quality is very poor

Buying this means wasting money and our valuable time

I wish to inform that never ever buy Philips TV in India the biggest reasons are as follows:

1. Philips don't provide any after sales support for its TV it is taken care by Videocon. Videocon is such an unprofessional service provider that you will throw away your TV from the window rather dealing with Videocon Service Team.

   
   




2. Philips have not shared any escalation matrix or customer care number wherein you can register a complaint against the Videocon Team who is providing after sales support on behalf of Philips.

   
   




3. No one picks up the phone on Philips office numbers given on its website. So practically speaking Philips is telling once we have sold our TV to you, we don't know who you are.

   
   




4. On Twitter and Facebook some outsourced people are managing Philips account who will just keep on giving you sugar coated bullshit but will never take up your issue with Philips officials directly.

   
   

Thus it is the worst of the company I ever came across, so please never buy any Philips product if you want to have a peaceful life.

The television of philips ranges its video and colour reproduction good in nature when it was enter at that time when the market need its possibility.thus the television has releases its real colour as it has the quality of good pictyre and sound delivereance.the speakers does got got so bad in the loud condition.but now a days it is quite so old in quality that everyone need in a televisionhaving hdmi, usb.but along with it ranges a good price demanding a great value of years response

That we know that phillips is agood brand.philips TV 20PT1782 have large wide screen that I love it I thought that something was a good in it that because that have a weight also that manufactuer give in it that should not be in it.the remote with this T.V is very slim in my mind.I LOVE PHILIPS brand because there is nothing bad in it

Bu$%ers took my TV 10 back for repairing and still in their service center. They say that they are not getting required items from head branch. What a third class company who sells product but can not provide service.

Please never ever buy any Philips product otherwise your life will be ruined. Everytime I call them they say it will be done by tomorrow, I really don't have patience now and it seems entire Philips company is like that.

Buying major appliances like TVs is a decision based on customer's perceived image of the brand and prior experience of service, Some brands like philips are so well established in Indian psyche that lack of quality or service over years hardly appears to erode their image. It requires consistent disregard for the brand name to accomplish it as my experience with my 21" Philips TV-20PT1782- I bought some time ago, shows. From the beginning, It had consistent problems with psychedelic colors on screen repeatedly. It was fixed free of charge several times, during warranty period .

Subsequently over the years I paid about 25 percent of the cost of TV periodically to get rid of the problem almost like a health insurance premium. Recently the authorized service centre said the tube had to be replaced at about 5000 rupees! I wanted to give Philips an opportunity to redeem their quality and service image and brand loyalty of customers. Which could have been easily redeemed, the price of a brand new TV of the same size is only about 7000, 50 percent less than what I paid for it. I have had Indian companies like Bajaj, Wipro and even ebay dealers jump at the opportunity I offered, for items years later. They perceived it as an opportunity to regain customer confidence.

I am appalled that Philips despite repeated complaints to their highest level-compt # 65084 26 Apr 2008, unresolved- do not seem to be bothered about the product performance, service quality or maitaining loyal customer relations. Under the circumstances. May be the all potential and present philips customers should get beware and brand hop in search of better products and service?
