It's a good one for middle class people .it's sound is very good and sound gives very clear and sounds good and about picture quality its good and colors are good it gives us clear picture and about remote it's also very nice and easily handle and about looking it's cool one and gives royalty look and it's looking very nice and we can move it from one place to other very easily and transport purpose also good.finally it's give us happy for spending that much money .we can find this is in various colors so we can choose good one.its very good for middle class people

I am a Sony maniac, but for the cost factor, I went for this TV(Idontknow the model name handy) and I knew I would not repentbuyingthis.

This was June 2002. After four years of continuoususe ofthe TV, Iwould like to suggest people looking out for a TV, Ifyou arenotspecific about a model and you are planning for a high rangeTVs just try out Phillips and you wont regret.

Hmm, I have hadsomeproblems during this long period of using the TV.The remote controlwasnot working just 4 months after I bought it.With lots of crytheservice person turned up. Presumably because I wasagressive aboutthequality of their service, he gave the best servicefixed it in giffy.

Thesecond time, while the TV was working, suddenly, something burntletting out smoke from the back side of the TV. The TV wasimmediatelyswitchedoff manually and the power connection was removed.We werethen asked bythe support people to switch it on. We did. Itwentsuccessfully on.They said they are registering a complaint tocheckwhat had happenedand gave us a reference number. Surprisinglytheynever cared ever andthe TV never ceased to work!!

The othersilly problem is that, no matter how many times we set, the color andsound settings will bereset to default when we change thechannel twice.If I need Surround OnI need to press that button and itwill be theretill I change two channels. :)
