FoxMail v4.1

Foxmail 6 is one of the free email client which according to me is really a great application. Being a software programmer and test engineer I give this software 8 out of 10. Its missing its 2 points just because of the version being released in Chinese language only. The help file is also only in Chinese so the users who don’t know the language will have to learn to manage the application by themselves.

The most beautiful functionality about foxmail is you that users can send or forward email from one accounts inbox to through other accounts setups. For example you have setup an pop3 account through gmail and even yahoo, and you have received an interesting email on yahoo but you need to forward it through gmail to all your friends to that they should not get your very personal Yahoo address, you can do that. Users just need to open the mail for forwarding, enter the email ids in relevant fields and just change the active account to gmail. Recipent will receive the same email through gmail address. Users can manage any no. of accounts. It does have many attractive features like Mail ticker which just rolls like a marquee on your desktop so you get notified about the new unread emails in your account. Just to click on the ticker and it will open the particular mail for you. Securing your email is much better in foxmail. Users just need to setup a password and other cant view the mails nor they can download the mails.

Very Important: If you are installing foxmail 6 as your email client everything will be displayed in Chinese language to convert it in English one just need to delete the Chinese.lbl file from the Program files>> Trancent >> Chinese.lbl. You will get to see whole application in English, accept your help file and some other features

I advice trancent to release the same in English even.

According to my opinion Foxmail is the best email client.

I started using Foxmail after having a problem with Pegasus and now I'm using it as my default client. It was extremely easy to set up and everything is very intuitive. It has got obvious roots in Outlook Express (plus others) but it is sufficiently different to merit the switch from your current e-mail program! The templates are a good idea and enable a distinctive style to be created very easily. Multiple accounts are much easier to set up than OE and the little features like having different areas accessed by a distinct ''manager'' give the product a good, professional feel. I thoroughly recommend it - congratulations to the design crew!

I first used FoxMail a couple of months ago. After a while, I decided to uninstall it and switch over to IncrediMail. But, it was too flashy for me, so now I'm using FoxMail as my e-mail client. It has a interface similar to Outlook Express (except with better looking icons) and some additional features. One of them is the ability to have your own icon on your messages (like x-face, if you use newsgroup readers that let you do that). Another one is the ability to have one account check multiple POP3 servers. I think that people who're looking for a n e-mail client to replace OE with should try FoxMail.
