I am going to share the painful experience of my friend which he had when he booked zoomcar for his trip. he had to go for a family ceremony so he booked a car from zoomcar. it was a 3 days trip. when he made the payment and then the car arrived at his home he took the pictures of the car so that he could have the proof to show to the owner the condition of the car before it was used by them.
after that they went to their family ceremony and everything went well. they enjoyed a lot and returned back happily. now after returning he took the pictures of the car again and also made a video for showing the condition of the car was it as it was before they left. so during the whole journey there was no damage to the car by my friend. the company executive came to his house to collect the car he examine the card and said that the car was fine.
after 3 hours when my friend changed his zoomcar account he found that there was a 7000 outstanding amount for damaging the car’s windshield. he immediately called the zoomcar customer support and ask them when their executive came to examine the car then there was no damage found then how could they say that there has been any kind of damage made by him. zoomcars investigation team said that there was a damage in the windshield which was a major damage. my friend said that I have a video evidence of the car before it took for the journey and after when he returned back from the journey. the person who came to receive the car also said that there was no problem in the car. if there was a problem then he should have thrown at that time only. the zoomcar team were not ready to listen anything and they just charged him with rupees 7000 for nothing. there were some legal issues also happened due to these baseless acquisition.
so from that day I decided to never use zoomcar or my trip.
