When you see the stars sitting next to you every other day. When you visit the sets to see this big budget multi-starrer being shot. When you attend the press conference with the entire cast n crew. Its definite that you "actually" look forward to the movie.
Since the past few months, there wasn't any release for which I was excited as such.
But for Yuvvraaj I WAS. Reasons aforesaid.
Now coming to liking the film. Everybody has a reason to like/love any film.
Different people, different perceptions and different horses they bet upon.
Personally, for me the film needs to have the most common but the most important part to be perfect;
which is STORY.
Yuvvraaj; disappoints beyond extent. Family drama? K-serials have better conflicts than this movie.
And they are even executed far better than this. It didn't hold me at any point of time
As I can see people praising acting. Trust me, I found all of 'em terrible.
Mr. Khan did NOT gave his best performance. Tere Naam and Jaaneman still holds the record.
I just didn't liked him. The reasons I'll give won't again be understood by crowd here so fu
Anil Kapoor is ok. Perhaps the better of the lot.
Zayed is NOT an actor. Period!
Katrina. Start choosing better roles if you really love acting.
I remember when for the first time I saw Mr. Irani and Mr. Chakraborty in our campus,
I wondered what they were doing over here. It was when I saw them on screen I got to know they are actors in this piece. Only to my surprise they are sheer wasted.
Story and performance are inter-related and hence both were bad for me
But what pissed me off most was direction.
Now, since I know there are certain asthetics and grammar to cinema. Mr. Ghai seems to have forgotten all that.
Silly and stupid techincal mistakes while taking shots. I mean, "we" guys don't do that in our films.
Where the hell is your years of experience? And better don't praise cinematography.
Capturing exotic locales isn't called cinematography. Its Kabir Lal's job too to avoid those fu
I really donno where the hell did they spent so much of money. The sets looks so stale and fake.
Sound design is not done well. Alot of places dialogues were out of sync.
"Tu hi toh.." "Mastam" and "Tu muskura" are good songs but badly picturised.
What the fu
Everything seemed so immaturish. And this is what pissed me.
What the hell are you doing since so many yrs in the industry and with such huge amount of money?
You serve us with THIS?
Its like disrespecting cinema and doubting your audience's intelligence.
Wake up man!!
The list is too long. And YES, I didn't liked anything in the movie. NOT AT ALL!!
Yuvvraaj is a bad piece of cinema.
It doesn't deserves a rating at all!!
