I have been using XPay Cash wallet for a few months and I started with the recharge and bill payment services. With the launch of UPI people can send and receive money just with a UPI id and this service is now also available with XPay. Apart from bill payments and mobile and d2h recharges it also provides services such as add money to wallet, send money to mobile and bank. With the help of this app users can also pay at the merchant through QR code. Users have to scan the QR code at the merchant through the app and money would be paid to the merchant automatically.
The layout of this app doesn't have anything unique if we compare it with other e-wallets. The layout of add money and funds transfer should have been done in a much better way. The design looks simple and doesn't create a curiosity among users. The logo is unable to create an ever lasting impression on the users.
I use e-wallets on daily basis to perform various financial transactions. It has a very limited features in comparison with the other e-wallets I use. The main thing it lacks is it doesn't have the option to shop online with various e-commerce portals. I shop online a few times in a week and always pay through e-wallets. So, As it is not tied up with e-commerce companies it is one of the drawbacks using this wallet. Second, It is not tied up with all the power companies and I am unable to pay my utilities bills through it.
So far I have found this app not at all useful due to its unreliable services. First, whenever I initiate a transaction I have to enter an OTP. Normally with an e-wallet it takes just a few seconds to get an OTP on the phone. However, on this app it takes more than 5 minutes to get an OTP that results in the decline on a transaction. Also, the app is very slow and takes a lot of time to process a request and most of the time shows errors. Earlier they had the funds transfer to phone and bank feature but I tried to send money a few days ago and this facility is not longer available. So, a big no to this app due to poor services.
