Here’s my review after two days usage to the max. I have 64 GB Dark Grey model
Pros:
Great Finish, beats many top notch phones in terms of style
Great Battery Performance, used phone consecutively for more than 10 hours with full battery
Quick charge: Don’t buy quick charge adaptors as the charger has inbuilt quick charge and charges battery amazingly fast
Great features; dual space to create a separate device within device to separate apps, create dual apps for dual accounts etc.
In-built memory, go for 64GB memory and avoid trouble of external memory cards
Light weight- amazingly light and handy compared to my previous Note 4G
Finger sensor to unlock phone(so much easy to unlock:D)
No heating problems etc.
Cons:
Camera- Unlike other reviews I wouldn’t say its bad but its not the best to expect either
Media card slots: No separate slot for Media card, you have to use the sim tray for it, so either 2 sims or 1 sim and a media card in it
RAM: Even with 4 GB RAM the available RAM always hover around 1.5 GB or 2.0 GB, where does the rest go, remains a mystery
Battery Tips: To have a long lasting battery, follow the tips shared by Mi
You get 50% battery when you open phone, Do NOT charge, use it upto 10% and then charge
For initial few uses, don’t charge 100% always, keep it between 95-99% and similarly do not let it go below 10% as both impact battery performance and life
Do not charge in between while your battery is not even reached 20%(trust me this battery lasts way more than your expectation so let it perform than stopping it by putting it on charging)
Do not overcharge, overnight charging etc.
Do not use mobile while charging, it impacts charging and you would see it charges faster if you do not use
I followed the above tips with my Note 4G and it’s been two years with same battery without any issues.
Happy shopping!
