I was bying xiaomi redmi note 3 in August 2016.

Full HD screen- Xiaomi launch the mobile that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with hybrid sim.
There is no slot for microSD cards -Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 does not support a slot for microSD cards which means you're stuck with whichever storage capacity you choose.
Non removable Battery - Redmi note 3 supports a bigger capacity battery but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's a non removable battery.
Doesn't have Front facing Camera - This might be a minor disaddvantage to the Redmi Note 3.
No waterproof - Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is not waterproof. This feature that a lot of people surely appreciated.
Screen Size - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has 5.5 inch screen. So It is become difficult to handle with single hand.
Mobile Design - Mobile has sleepery design.
