This might be the best purchase you make when you are buying a phone for just rupees 8999. This phone has everything and that is the reason why I decided to buy it but god the waiting for the chance of buying it was unbearable. The flash sales are just too much pathetic to think of this product. Every Mi product never last long and is always out of stock of you go to the website to buy it.
The phone whenever on sale or stock gets out of stock in a matter of seconds. I just don't understand why and how many people are buying this. Me after struggle with out of stock trouble was finally able to get my hands on the product after 3 months but to my disappointment there was a defect in it. The defect was that the fingerprint sensor was not working properly.
It will detect the fingerprint if I am using it continuously but if I leave it for sometime like if I leave it for whole night in the morning I would touch it and no response. It felt dead. Everytime I had to use the pin unlock . What is the point? If that is all I needed why I bought a 9k phone why not 7k phone with everything same except the Fingerprint.
Called service centre they said call amazon and I did. They said replacement piece is not there everything is out of stock. 10 days went by and my replacement window was gone and don't ask what happened when went to the service centre they said it would cost me 5k for repair? what? seriously? getting fed up I just did what had to be done. Put it up to sale.
Fortunately I was able to sell it for 7k as the fingerprint was working on its own sometimes would work perfectly fine and sometimes it won't. While selling it, it was completely working. My luck and bad luck both I guess. Anyways what I would say is that nothing is worth the wait like Xiaomi flash sales are. You better buy a phone which is in stock and have satisfaction of mind then wait relentlessly for phone like this. And by any chance if you are stuck with it. God help you as neither Customer care nor the Xiaomi store will help you.
