So here's my 1-year ownership review of Xiaomi POCO X3
Please note that I own the 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variant.
Let's begin!
PROS
1)Camera: The camera in POCO X3 is definitely good. It has a quad-camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 64-megapixel camera. Also, its 119-degree field of view helps you with those wide-angle shots.
The front camera in this phone is 20 megapixels which also gets those clean and neat selfies.
2)120Hz Refresh rate display: The display is buttery smooth and that looks really amazing when watching videos, playing games, etc. Also, It has a 240Hz touch sampling rate which makes the display very responsive.
3)Battery and Charger: Battery is 6000mAh Lithium Polymer which gives a decent backup of at least one whole day with normal use( watching videos, web surfing but heavy gaming not included) Also they offer a 33W charger in the box which gets the battery 0 to 100 in approximately 80-90mins.
4)Processor: It comes with a 2.32GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and an Adreno 618 GPU. Honestly back then I had doubts about this processor but it was decent after I used it for playing games like BGMI and CODM.
5)Looks and finish: Now this is my personal opinion but I liked the looks of this device especially that Rear camera and the glossy back panel.
Now let's come to some cons.
CONS:
1)Bugs: One major problem I found in this device was bugs. I have a bug in my camera that is when I open my camera and go to the video and try to switch to ultra-wide-angle lens It just freezes and this has not yet been fixed and this only happens in video camera and not photo camera. I also noticed that a friend of mine who had purchased the same phone doesn't have this kind of bug although his variant is 4GB/64 so now I do not know if this bug is only in the 6GB/128 variant. Apart from this, I have seen one guy facing serious issues like the camera just freezes when he opens it and it just stops responding. Xiaomi definitely needs to fix such bugs.
2)Heating: Although they promise you some sort of Liquid cooling and some graphite layer for heat dissipation this phone would still heat up if you are not in a ventilated environment while doing heavy gaming for constant hours and you would also see a deteriorated performance when it heats up. I used to play BGMI for constant 2-3 hrs and If the fan is turned off my phone still heats up and the performance degrades a lot so much that my game used to lag and the FPS used to drop a lot.
Don't worry though if you already own this device then there is a solution for it and that is trying to keep the room ventilated as much as possible and sit right below a ceiling fan or a pedestrian fan OR even better is to get yourself a phone cooler which costs about 1,500 INR on amazon like these:

Both of these will work like a charm.
Another important thing is that BGMI is way too heavy and it is the only game that will cause the most heating on this phone as it is not well optimized yet but on the other hand games like CODM will cause minimum heating which will not even cause a performance drop.
3)Weight: This device does feel heavy although you will get used to it later on.
4)Lack of a dedicated slot for dual sim and micro sd card. Now this will be a con for you if you have previously used a phone with a dedicated slot/tray.
5)Pricing: Back in the day it was out for almost 19,000 INR and now they have launched POCO X3 PRO with a much better processor at more or less the same price tag.
So were my pros and cons after using this phone for almost a year!
Do let me know if I have missed anything and do leave a comment if you need to know anything about this device, Thank you! Have a good day!
