Hello Everyone, I have been waiting to review this Xiaomi Poco F1 the all new Flagship smartphone from Redmi. I just bought the 64 GB variant it has totally amazed me! As the build and design was the most questioned aspect about this phone lets start with that first. Build and design is fine. The plastic back doesn't feel cheap and and the provided case is of very high quality. To be honest I hated the notch so I first disabled it in the settings, and it looks just like a normal 18:9 phone. The corners are a bit to round for my liking but I don't care about that.
Talking about the sound it is AWESOME! Poco F1 is the best device under 2k having the best sound quality. The Sound reception via the headphone jack is also great after adjusting it in the settings. The speaker in the earpiece is very tiny but still the sound output is great.
The Display of the phone very good by IPS standards. Its is indeed one of the best display I have seen under 25K price segment. It gets very bright and auto brightness works well, no complaints.
Now the Battery, one of the most important thing. Well, yes I am surprised! It lasted all day long, I am getting minimum 7 hours SOT even after playing 2 hours of PUBG.
The phone never gets hot even after playing high end games like Asphalt 8 and PUBG.
The finger print and the Face unlock both are Amazingly fast and the Face unlock even works perfectly in the pitch dark conditions as there is a dedicated IR sensor. I tried to cover the IR sensor and the face unlock did't worked. So its actually using the IR sensor and not the Front camera alone for face unlocking. It won't work if your eyes are closed.
The Camera was totally unexpected! Its on par with Oppo 6 and Asus 5z and one of the best camera under 25K. There was no complaints regarding the Charging, the phone charges super fast.
Out of 64 GB I got 54GB in my variant. Average free ram stays around 3.5 GB. The full screen gestures work very well. But I prefer on screen buttons. The phone is great and the best is its price segment I am happy with this device.
