Purchased a Mi TV 4X in August 2020, eagerly anticipating its arrival. However, my excitement was short-lived as upon receiving the product, I discovered it was faulty. Within just 15 days of purchase, I noticed troubling lines overlaying the right corner of the screen. Concerned about the quality of the product, I promptly lodged a complaint with your esteemed company, hoping for a swift resolution to the issue at hand.
To my relief, Mi tv responsive team addressed my concerns and initiated the necessary steps to rectify the problem. They assured me that the matter would be resolved, and true to their word, they promptly replaced the screen panel. Initially, this solution seemed to resolve the issue.
However, my satisfaction was short-lived as the problem resurfaced just a month after the panel replacement. Despite the efforts made by the team, the lines overlaying the screen persisted, disrupting my viewing experience. Concerned about the reliability of the product, I once again reached out to your technician guy, seeking guidance and assistance in resolving the recurring issue.
Unfortunately, the response I received from MI Technician guys was far from satisfactory. I was informed that there was little they could do to remedy the situation, citing limitations beyond their control. This was saddening to hear, as it left me feeling helpless and frustrated.
Now that again reaching out to Mi customer support, I was informed that the warranty has expired and the only option is to replace the entire panel, which would cost 90% of the price of a new TV. This response is disheartening, as the problem originated from a manufacturing defect since the date of purchase, and the services provided have not offered a satisfactory solution. It is unfair to expect me to bear the cost of rectifying this issue. So product life time is big questions before making please consider it.
