Woh Lamhe is one of those movies which had touched me. I had seen the promos of the movie and I knew it was a story on late Parveen Babi.
I have never appreciated the fact that Mahesh Bhatt and family uses their personal lives to profit making i felt sad that Arth had exploited Parvin Babi's sickness and Vikram Bhatt did something with Sushmita sen in Ankahee. but when I watched Woh Lamhe I have forgiven Mahesh Bhatt .
Sana Azim played splendidly by kangna ranaut is a bollywood actress who is being exploited by her greedy mother and boy friend actor Shaad Randhawa who has done a decent job and is a promising actor.
Sana Azim supports her greedy mother who admonishes her for having send 600 rupees less in 2 lakhs that she sends her mother. Shaad Randhwa her boy friend and superstar who has introduced her to film industry treats her like his personal property and has no qualms even raping her.
At this part of her life enters Aditya Gerewal a young ambitious director who wants to use Sana azim as a ladder to success and initial uses her to find fame and name.However, Aditya, a struggling filmmaker, is looking for his big break in the industry. Initially, he also tries to cash in on his high-profile girlfriend's celebrity status. But eventually he falls in love with her and starts shielding her.
He saves her from everything - greedy producers, her money-minded boyfriend and her mother who feels that Sana should be given shock treatment.
but soon Aditya sees another side of her he realizes that Sana is a schizophrenic She hallucinates about weird things and is paranoid about people around her. She sees a imaginary girl called Rani who is there to warn her of conspiracy about her. The scenes where Sana imagines and encounters Rani are inspired strongly by M Night Shyamlam. but I will not take any credit away from Mohit Suri who I feel is one of the most promising young directors and has done full justice to Parveen Babi.
Shiny Ahuja has played the role of young ambitious yet loving Aditya Gerewal to perfection I was very impressed with Shiny ever since I watched Hazaron Khawaishen and I am glad he is better in every Movie. débutante Shaad Randhwa has done a decent job and has a good future.
and finally Kangna Ranaut I have only superlatives for this lady. she is not only one of the most beautiful but most talent actresses in bollywood at the moment. 5 stars to her
