Here is the story in short.


Ordered 2 bouquets(costing~2200 INR in all) on the occasion of my daughter's birthday - one each for her and the mother. At check out, there was only one message box for customisation. So I contacted the Chat agent on the site and was advised to append both the messages in the same box, with the colour of the bouquet clearly spelt out. The proactive help was superb and I really liked it.


I selected the 1-5pm slot(2 slots from where one can pick). Post placing the order, I again contacted the site through their chat(same agent!) and reconfirmed that the messages were clear and would be actioned as required. At peace, I waited till 4, before again contacting the chat agent to check if all was on track . "Yes" was the assured response.


5.30pm - No delivery


5.45: Contacted Winni on Phone. Agent promises call back


5.55: Got call back saying delivery was a little delayed, but would come by 6.15 latest


6.30: Still no delivery/ update


7.30PM: Called up the delivery boy who had contacted 3 hours back and indicated that he is on his way and would reach soon! Was given a heads up that he would deliver by 7.30pm. Finally he did!


Delivery: Bouquets were decent and no complaints.


After confirming my name(recipient), the guy gave me ONE message card! I asked him to wait and opened it.


Lo and behold!


As it was typed in the message box, the message was printed.reading


"For Orchid bouquet: xxxxxxx & For Yellow bouquet: xxxxx"


Sender's details: "For Orchid bouquet: Father & For Yellow bouquet: Husband"


It was so infuriating that I tore the card in half and put in the delivery6 boy's pocket, asking him to hand it over to his office boss. Contacted on chat again and sent an email, but was promised "we will certainly look into your feedback"!


Bless you, folks at Winni! After messing up a lovely evening with your stupid actions, it is indeed high time you "look into" the feedback, processes and the people around!


NEVER AGAIN at Winni! Period! Wish there was a negative Star to rate!
