Provides fake Information. Review on Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a multilingual internet-based encyclopedia created and maintained as an open collaboration project by volunteers using is the editing system. The idea and concept of Wikipedia are pretty good but the maintenance team needs to work more efficiently.

Wikipedia is founder by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger

and is under Wikimedia run by Jimmy Donal Wales

Here I will discuss the pros and cons of Wikipedia and my personal experience also

Pros

-Great initiate

-Good project and thinking

-Provides an article about almost everything

-Provides in-depth information from history to latest discovery

-Easily editable by the viewers and community

Cons

-Most of the information is outdated and fake

-Phony or fake information is not removed

-No guarantee about the genuine of information

-Community edits it so most of the articles are biased and fake

-Fake profiles

One issue most popular during this time is people create their fake profile on Wikipedia and get themselves verified in Instagram and other platforms

Wikipedia doesn't check the facts provided and the trouble begins people write whatever they wish and there is a lack of cross-checking of information this causes hoax.

Many social media star or so-called influencers create their fake profiles as a cricketer or footballer and get verified.

My personal Experience-

In my personal use, I never find the information useful and correct. The information on political and social issues is generally biased toward a side depending upon who is writing it and the profiles of politicians are full of fake data. still, you can find enough data for school projects cause those type of information is generally correct and enough.

Wiki editor

The Wikipedia editor for writing information works fine and has enough features for you to write without any issue.

Other services

There are other services that are provided by Wikipedia such as meta-wiki, wiki species and more

Wikipedia in means quick and in other way or we say in technology way it means the technology used for creating websites
