Neha jog(examiner) joining 15 mins late through chat first and not the video(professionalism!) in a messy hair bun(professionalism again!)
Told that she is held up with another meeting - so assigned me with some coding tasks through chat and I was asked to perform the task by sharing my screen. all done! and verified by her as well!
But in the final performance comment, she mentions Improvement needed with those coding activities! (Come on Neha Jog, first figure out about which meeting you are updating, and then type your comments:D)
I was sitting with the background of a plain dark brown cupboard with my family pic at one corner. She corrects me saying this is not a professional background as there is a family pic at the back and quoted it is very unsafe to show these pics to the parents to whom I give the demo. Previous examiners were fine with that spot. But this mam did not consider it as a professional work environment and told me to correct it(at the same time there was continuous yelling and screaming of a kid at her background.:D Professionalism you see!)
Now coming to the fun part - I was so silent till this point. This mam Neha Jog was continuously talking in HINDI in the call with me throughout. I actually understand a very teeny bit of Hindi, so was somehow trying to manage and figure out what she must be telling - At one point, it became tedious for me to follow her train-long sentences in HINDI( Again professionalism you see!) So I interrupted her and said - can you please talk in English as I do not know Hindi.
THIS MADE THE MAM VERY FURIOUS:D:D LOL
She told me I was very unprofessional because:
1) I interrupted her, and
2) I sarcastically told her that I don't understand Hindi
I replied saying "This is not sarcasm mam. I know a Lil bit only to understand. Now it is getting complicated so stopped you and told directly". And this professional mam replied saying "I don't have time for such arguments with you! I have another call scheduled at 8 PM. Let's focus on the demo"
That's it! You know what would have happened from there:D:D
And yeah.! There is a climax fun part -
I missed a step of guiding the student to navigate a panel for 4 minutes.
This Neha Jog mam has given this as a feedback comment saying - student navigation did not happen for 10 minutes.
Well, we all know what would be my result of the demo by now. So I thought nothing is gonna change my results. So let's not be a dumb and therefore, opened up to her saying its 4 minutes mam and not 10 minutes.
This intelligent Neha Jog mam told - the main point here is panel navigation missed and time doesn't matter.
So why has she mentioned it?
I told - its okay mam. Time matter or not is fine. But please update it with correct data and not with some random number.
OMG. She started yelling and I was confused for a moment if I'm in a fish market or what?!
Ok, then I again explained her - mam, you mention the time or not is up to you. But do not mention the wrong number at least in my conscious.
This intelligent and generous Neha Jog mam finally verified through her logs and updated that as 4 mins. Thanks so much, mam.
And then she showed extra generosity in her scores!
I scored 95% in Demo 1
and for the same set of questions, I scored 25% with this mam. oops! professional mam!
And this mam is very professional you see! so she herself told me - I'm giving you another chance by rescheduling this demo and let's do this tomorrow at 11.
I was told by HR initially that WHJ works between 1:30 PM till 8:30 AM
So confused with her notation, I asked - is it AM or PM mam?
And Neha Jog's gentle professional response - "Obviously AM. what kind of question is this Nithya?" with a sharp look as if trying to break my screen through that look:D:D
And the most confusing part was - When I was trying to build rapport with the parent during the demo(Just like instructed by my previous examiners and also just as a basic common sense of sales) like - "What's the hobby of the kid?" Ans: "Drawing."
Me: "Oh Really! Then he will definitely enjoy making his own doodle app and creates other innovative painting apps using this course"
The convicted Neha Jog mam has commented on this saying - "Irrelevant topics discussed with the parent about student hobbies.
No urgency and attempt made to sell the product" LOL
Mam, you are really funny!
She also gave me some other feedback on how she actually expects the flow of the demo to be!
Okay. Considering her level and job position, I thought this professional mam is gonna behave so professional to me with the second attempt of the demo. So I did not escalate these issues with any person in the organization and did not try to change my examiner for the rescheduled slot.
But who knew this amateur professional is gonna take things personally? (this all happened just because I said I do not know Hindi!:()
This mam had already decided on my result before starting the session.
So this time at 11 AM the mam joined in a professional attire all that. I made sure, there should be no option for this mam to point out any mistake from my end. So I worked in each and every minute bit of detail - starting from demo flow, terms used, examples, explanations, my background, everything!
The demo went smoothly. The WHJ team also logged in now and then to monitor the demo. The time allocated for me is 45 minutes.
This mam's internet connection was bad and therefore got disconnected for 3 minutes. The mam had her personal discomforts like cough or something, so took a break and moved away for another 2 minutes. These 5 minutes were not tallied in my time allocation.
Then I noticed this biased and unprofessional behavior of this lady Neha Jog - Whenever the WHJ team is there logged in, she behaves decently. And when they are out, she purposely drags the conversation and makes me get stuck up on the same page(I need to finish explaining about 28 pages in 45 mins) for lots of time asking silly irrelevant questions(which is not supposed to happen). I was deliberately seeing this happening and finally at 45 minutes - I reached only 26th page! So this mam without tallying that gone 5 mins, told I'm poor in time management and therefore she can't take chances of hiring me! LOL
Fine!
Halfway through the session, I understood what will be my result. So I did not react much! I just asked her in a calm tone - Do you have any other feedback for me?
This professional intellect Neha Jog said - No No Nithya. Everything was perfect! Only the time management part. But that is the core thing and I cannot accept you therefore sorry!
Call over.
I then logged-in to check my performance dashboard - this lady had given me a 35% score saying

Java Script details not explained(Seriously Neha Jog! For your well being I'm recommending you to change your internet provider as you are having trouble listening to the other end in video calls:D)
Every single page of explanation was criticized by this lady, you know!
According to these comments, one will not actually believe that the demo happened at all LOL
As per her, Nothing was explained by me.

My point is Neha Jog - Why being so biased with candidates? Because of its geographical location? or because we do not know Hindi?
Why tell me everything is perfect during the course of the interview, and then providing internal feedback like this?
That might be because you think candidates cannot escalate such issues to the management? Maybe? WhiteHat Jr
And if you feel time management is the reason for rejection, and if that's actually enough to reject me- why the feedbacks include false statements? (Still, 5 mins and purposeful delays were there mams!)
Well. you have under-estimated the candidates here Neha Jog.
WhiteHat Jr - Please take care of such evaluators and allocate responsible and professional examiners for such recruitment processes, who does the job unbiased in the interest of the organization only! The unnecessary ego of these kinds of examiners would cost the actual talents to be lost by WhiteHat Jr.
